Nice. I used to pit for chase when they had the 1 cars. Split just after they got into 6100. Miss it for sure, especially baja with them

Question for you guys, if I'm running a rear shackle but no new leaf pack (yet) should I go extended shock on the rears or standard length (aka can you run an extended travel shock with just a shackle?), and thoughts on compression adjusters on the rears?

They never had 6100. You must mean 1600 cars. I miss those cars now. The tires were so small compared to the 40's we run now. A hell of a lot easier to load the 1600 spare tires.

Yeah I know him, but he doesn't prep TT, he preps the class 1 cars. I was referring to Joe who preps for Jesse Jones. Solid dude. But Mike was with Brett King as the were developing external by-pass shocks. Anyways, this thread is getting of track.

    Back to the group buy.

No, chase motorsports. They got a used Mason truck last season or 2 seasons ago right after they picked up a Jake's fabworks car

I misread your post. I thought you meant you used to pit/chase for Wilsons not pit/chase for CHASE. lol. They stayed at our motel in Baja a few years ago when they had the Porter 1 car.

Much respect for the Headstrong folks. Super strong on the Tacoma boards and Marie got me a great price when I bought my 6112/5160 a year ago... that setup has 24,000 miles on it, maybe time for an upgrade. PM sent for pricing.

yes, everything except the rear shock length, I asked her and she was not certain on if I needed an extended length with the longer shackles.

hopefully I can get a final answer today or tomorrow.

How long are your shackles? I'm assuming I wouldn't need extended length with 1.5-2" shackles?

Copy that, I was going to go with the 3” but maybe I’ll just stick with the 2” and be safe.

ramon, let me know what the next steps are.

@ramonortiz55 @HeadStrong Off-Road , Once we've paid, are we supposed to receive an official invoice from Headstrong-Offroad? Still waiting to hear back on that.

Love my Fox 2.5s. Many ppl who run Kings don’t even use them and I haven’t seen any hard evidence to sway me one way or the other. ADS is a whole different story - the only ppl I’ve seen run these are ppl who actually wheel.

You will. Here is a break down of the process.

When a client is ready we send them a payment request. Once it is paid we will send an official invoice (can take a little bit as invoicing is done in batchs) with any tracking available to you. If the product is not in stock and needs to be built you will be informed of hte lead time and once the product is completed with either King or Icon then we send you over the remaining tracking information.
