So I have someone locally selling their TRD springs, 4600 shocks, and rear shackles for $150 with about 5,000 under them. How much lift would I be adding from the stock suspension going towards the TRD? Do you think it would be worth to add them to my Platinum Tundra now. It's quite a chunk of savings between dropping the dough on a new set of 6112's

All and all pretty noob question. Thanks gentlemen.

    Those won't add any lift.

I didn't think so. Damn, I thought they would at least level it out.

You could buy the set (certainly a good deal) and then buy 5100’s to level the front.

That’s my plan, as I already have the off-road kit and just need the 5100’s.

Do it first! And tell me if it works well!!

All you will accomplish is getting a rougher ride and a few hours laying on the ground to install them.

For what it is worth, I sold mine with 500 miles on them for $150. Those things are worthless to anyone who doesn't need shocks.

Those are the TRD Off-road shocks.

The TRD Pro shocks are different and do have a noticeable difference in the ride quality and also provide a 2” lift for the front.

But the TRD Off-road shocks aren’t much of an upgrade.

So I just bought the bills things 5100 to replace my shocks and was wondering should I keep my Springs or should I just kept the trd springs. My set up is an actual struck so I will just be sliding out the shock and putting it back in there and replacing the bushings

I put the TRD sport rear shocks on last week, I don't notice any difference in ride.
My old shock were very easy to compress however, and the new "TRD" bilteins were very tough to compress. I hope to do the fronts next week. The backs were getting rusty and weak.
I want expecting a huge difference, I was just happy to replace shocks and coil springs that had 40k miles and were starting to get rusty
