    OPINIONS AND EXPERIENCES WANTED!!!!!!

All right fellas, I’m looking for any and all opinions on which front bumper to choose ADD Stealth or the Camburg CTE! I know that’s opening up the door to a lot but I do want to consider everything with this mod!!!!

I originally wanted the the Expedition One Storm Trooper Front Bumper but the lead times are too long for me to curb my impatience.

With that said, I was able to get the ADD through a buddy of mine with free shipping, so I told him I am in and he ordered it a month and a half ago. There was no update from the vendor whatsoever. In the mean time I found and bought a lightly used Camburg CTE Front Bumper used (less than 6 months with no off road use). That is in my hands now! I called my buddy and told him, I will no longer need the ADD front bumper and he tells me that he finally got a response and have processed the order to be shipped out.
So I am trying to decide which one to keep. I already have a Smittybilt X2O 12k Gen 2 winch that will go with the bumper I choose.

    My only dislikes about each:

ADD- The integrated light bar cut out in the bumper.

CTE- The lines of the bumper aren’t as aesthetically please as the ADD.

Also, if I choose the CTE Bumper I will paint the wings the same color of my truck, similar to the picture, which is the bumper I have.

    So help me out here!!!

I have seen @Larmand's ADD in person, hell I helped put it on, and it's the real deal! I really like it over the Camburg.

Camburg front lip looks so generic to me almost like a rebranded bumper. Definitely ADD looks much better aesthetically.

Ok so please advise what light bar cut out you are referring to on the ADD? They have the big one dead center and the 2 on either side. The 2 on the sides are really accessible and you can remove the ADD logo plates if desired.

As for me i really love my ADD bumper, it works perfect for my light setup. I fell in love with it as soon as i saw it and makes me smile everytime i walk to my truck.

On another note, you can mount winch controls to the winch and still access them, from the side. By reaching in from underneath.

On the downside, if you plan on installing a lightbar in the bumper you will need to do so, prior to mounting the winch. The winch will block the lightbar in. Otherwise you will be pulling the bumper off at a later date and time.

Aesthetically, the Camburg looks blocky and bulky to me. Again, i fell in love with ADD when i saw it.

Thanks for the feedback! It is exactly what I was looking for!

I was referring to the the 30” light bar cut out in the middle of the bumper. The two side plates will cover the side lights which I like!

    ADD+5!!!

Larmand, Yes.... your right 40” light bar

The CTE is the one that has pre drilled holes for a 30” light bar for the top lip of the bumper.

I dont have any experience with either, still saving up for bumpers myself but personally out of the 2 I would go with the ADD hands down. It is more aesthetically pleasing than the Camburg.

    None, yet....
This is my truck btw. I also ran into this dilemma when picking a front bumper. Ultimately, I decided to go with the camburg one, obviously. I got to see both of these at sema last year and it helped make my decision. Biggest reason being that the structure design of the camrbug one is just superior imo. I’m not sure what the purpose of your bumper is, but my main concern was strength and durability. While the ADD one does have better lines that flow with the truck, the structure in how the camburg one mounts to the truck is significantly superior, since it uses not just the front frame horns where the bash bar mounts, but also has a tie-in section that reuses the factory bolts for the front tow hooks, which then attaches to the main center section. If your intent is to use this bumper to yank your truck out of sticky situations, then my vote is camburg. Looks? Def ADD. Except for the large light bar in the front of the bumper. It was a bit too brodozer for me. The camburg utilizes 2 10” bars and that’s more light than I’ll ever need. I can’t imgone a 40”we like the ADD uses.

Happy to answer questions about the camburg one if you have any.

Sorry, no updates yet, my son had a set back with his chemo treatment, so bumpers are on hold right now for the next 2-3 weeks.

Also curious to know which one you picked.

I like them both but agree with the others that ADD looks better. However, Midwesterner makes an excellent point. If the Camburg mounting setup is superior to that of the ADD, then I’d say that’s a very important factor to consider when choosing between the two.
