Yes you could run separate wires if there is a brake somewhere; but to be honest all of this is just spit balling/the parts cannon till it gets properly diagnosed for what it is, since you don’t have it back yet we can’t fact check any ideas

have you talked to them again or just waiting on the module?

Where should the gauge I posted be when it's running?

The boss refuses to call me. I left a horrible & factual review on Google & Yelp. He responded with bullshit and accusations regarding my wiring to the SC pump motor, 18+ Sequoia headlights. dedicated fuel pump wiring, none of which touched AC & all of which has been there for 3+ years.

    It's insane.

    If the
If the ac is working you should be getting 20° F colder than outside air temp generally

Big O filled it, was low (knew Aamco dicked me)

It's 12 degrees hotter now than the last picture that was 40 so I guess 42 is ok but doesn't this prove I did not need the condenser???

Nope, it seems to be coming on at 1-1100 now & it stays cool longer before getting hotter under that.

    It's insane.

One of the junkyards I called said he had the same issue and gave me this electrical shop I have the Thursday appointment at who fixed it.

    Fingers crossed.

    I tried all the suggestions:
Removed the diode, verified all the grounds are happy, tried disconnecting the fan & giving it direct power.

    Nope.

    Sad.

If I command the compressor under 11-1200 nothing.

What is the rest of the info telling us?

Second picture is holding the throttle, compressor on, cold air coming out.

That “Regulator pressure sensor” reading of 322 psi doesn’t seem right unless the compressor clutch had just been engaged. And if it had, I’d expect lower evap. core temperatures, so I doubt that it had.

A quick look says that a high reg psi above 250 psi can be:
Overcharged system, condenser fan not working, air in system, blocked condenser, stuck expansion valve closed. The big question is what is causing the fan not to come on under 1200rpm.? ?

In the second picture, vent temp was cool, it was over 1200 rpm.

Why the damn compressor & fan stopped coming on under 1200 is the million dollar question.

The series of events was, ECU died, truck sat for about 2 weeks, ecu came back, this started.

It has since been parts cannoned with every part but those inside the dash.

I need a little more clarity… when giving the fan direct power it doesn’t come on?

Meaning the fan lost either low speed or high speed?

Where’d the ecu come from and why was it replaced/why’d it die?

Fan is fine direct power & over 1200 rpm, compressor does not come on until 1200 rpm both with the fan connected to the harness & direct power.

I am supercharged, ecu bricked flashing a tune, it was replaced by another I had which is when these issues started, hoped the second ecu was also bad so got a new one from Toyota.

I haven’t used techstream to look at active tests so unsure about what info you can see. When the fan is on does it show you in techstream? Is it two different sections: one for high speed and low speed or is it just fan on?

Secondly, when the compressor is not on below 1200, does Techstream say that it should be on? Or does it say the compressor is off?

The first picture the compressor is commanded on but is off & TS says it's on , the second I have commanded it on (before getting it to 1200+ it did not come on) I then held the pedal.

Here is a video when I was on the pedal, I assume the Evap fin thermistor temp under 60 & going down shows it is cooling?

With the diode (for the AGM) 13.5-14.2. Without 13.2-13.7 without. I put it back since it didn't fix it.

Yeah, and it’s not going negative or anything causing the compressor to kick off so that can be ruled out.

you need to command the compressor on at idle with tech stream and check for power and ground at the compressor; it should most likely not have it but we’re just double checking everything

Did not know that was a thing. I searched it & it seems to need a display with numbers which mine does not have. I'll give it a try & see.
