Every time I look down my ac is in recirculate mode. I’m assuming this is a function of the auto turning it on every time I start the truck? I can never remember to look in the morning when I get going. The screaming 2 year old is distracting me.

Its an option to change in Techstream. I believe it does this to prevent mold growth in ac ducts.

I wish with all the changes to the CM, there was a "P" package for parents. Rubber seats and mats with a plexiglas divder between front seats and rear. Better top anchor points for car seats would also be nice.

A much better use for that currently pointless/expensive roll up rear window would be to place it between the front and rear seats.

Wouldnt recirculate promote mold growth? That’s what I’m trying to prevent by not running in recirculate as it was a little musty smelling.

He has 2 molars coming in. I’d be pissed too if we are being honest.

A/C MAX only works in recirc. Change it from MAX to a little lower and it functions in non-recirc.
And either of the defrost functions only work in non-recirc.

IIRC, i'm working off memory here. :pccoffee:

Probably depends on your climate. In the arid western states, fresh air is probably drier and cleaner than recirculated air. But AC condenses and removes moisture so, In the humid southeast, recirculating the already-dried air probably makes more sense than having to keep conditioning and drying even more fresh air. (Non-scientific explanation and speculation)
