So, is anyone else digging that new 2019 Silverado? It usually takes me a while to warm up to new body styles, but the lines on that look pretty nice.

They did just flip those headlights 180 degrees. I still think it looks a lot better than the F150, though.

I don't hate it...the only thing that looks awkward is the front quarter panel-grille=bumper junction. Other than that it looks nice.

From what I've read the red truck pictured above it the Trail Boss and is lifter 2" via better shocks. It definitely rock that before a FORD that's for sure.

I think it looks pretty good. Haven't seen any specs on it, just going by looks.
Modified Ford Front and and Tundra rear end.

The big thing to me that helps that truck in the looks department...they got rid of the square fender wells. Finally!

Doesn't look to bad, that rear bed bodyline looks like the 3rd gen Tundras. The one thing that stands out to me is that the mirrors are now mounted on the doors, I hate that look for vehicles. Tow mirrors will most likely look very weird on it with them mounted there. Other then that its a good update of there truck. Wonder when the next Tundra is coming....seems like eternity, I mean Chevy has updated the platform twice now.

I just now noticed the mirrors. Yea too low, not a good look. They look best fitting perfectly in the triangle of the window, needs to be kept there.

Hopefully soon. I would love to see Toyota come out swinging like they did to the competition ten years ago or so.

Looks decent. Give it a few years to see how reliability is.

We still have the best looking trucks, imho.

Definitely wait a couple years and watch the forums.

I go burned on a 2014 Sierra (first year of that redesign) that had the vibration everyone talks about then dropped a lifter at 5K miles or so.
Here is basically my brand new 6.2 opened up. Gawd that sucked...

It does look a little "off" where the front/grille meets the front quarter panel. I also just noticed those mirrors as well and that does look pretty weird. I wonder if the standard trims will have different placement? Like Alloutdrs1 said, tow mirrors would look ridiculous in that location.

Yea some of that placement makes it seem like they are just trying to make it different than all the others, but there's only so much you can do and maintain common sense and functionality.

Agree with this, I had a 2014 Silverado for 24kmiles and in that time 3 warranty work trips and 4 recalls. Traded that truck on my Tundra and haven't had any issues and I'm at 18k now, truck is just consistent and reliable.

Dumped my Silverado for a 2017 Tundra, and never looked back. Until GM can get the Active Fuel Management thing finally working without having piston rings seize up and lifters fail, you will see more folks jump to other brands from GM. That concept is good thinking to save on fuel, but thousands of warranty claims are a result of the technology that doesn't often work correctly. Before buying a Tundra, I spoke to several service techs to be sure Toyota did not use that technology. Now after driving a Tundra, I really don't see a whole lot of difference in the fuel mileage between the Chevy and Tundra. Worth going to Toyota for less trips into the dealer for servicing. Just my two cents worth!!

That particular Silverado has a $68,000 sticker. Uh no, it's not that pretty and it'll be in the shop for most of its short, painful, life. And/or you'll get pathetic resale value. This is the way with American trucks and SUVs. I've learned my lesson.
