im thinking about selling my BFG Ko2 275 70 r18s. I did the coachbuilder upgrade to my pro and I want to put the recommended 295s on. My tires are in great shape and have 13000 miles on them.

    1. How much can I get for them and how long do you think it would take me to sell them? I’m assuming local sale only. I live in Nashville.

    2. I really like my ko2s but I was also looking at the Nitto Ridge Grappler. I’m ok with the road noise from the ko2s but I don’t want anything louder. What would you recommend?

    Thanks for your input.

Really depends on tread lift on them . I would be careful picking out other tires because the ko2 I think are one of the quietest tires but that may just be me.

Stick with the BFG’s. If you’ve never looked at those tires close might be a good time. On the side of the tire it tells you how the tire is constructed. Plys on the side and tread area. There isn’t too many tires on the market that are built as strong as that BFG. If you take your truck off road that tire is as good as it gets. If your more a street guy then it doesn’t matter.

I like the ko2s so I would tend to agree. I don’t think the old ones would be to hard to sell do you?

Measure the tread depth of yours compared to brand new.

I think those tires are like 220 new, so if you’re at 75% tread i would expect to get 100-125 a tire if so. Depends on how many potential customers you live near

Random suggestion: it might be better just to trade them in when you buy the new tires. Yes, you won’t get as much money, but the financial hit might be worth it when assessed against the bs of dealing with your average CraigsLister. Also, the tires might sit for a looooong time until the right buyer comes along. At least with a trade you get something for them immediately. Just my .02
