Just wondering if there is any benefit to having either the a/c button or the recirc button on while using the heater?

I think the ac will help dry out the air if you're not defrosting, so less fogging

I use the a/c plus heat alot when I'm fishing I do a lot of hiking in an its usually raining pretty good also usually got a buddy with me and its always raining pretty good so between getting our gear out and putting the gear back plus us just being soaked the truck fogs up pretty good but a/c plus heat clears that up real quick alot faster than just defrost no a/c.

So looks like a/c and heat with no recirc button is the trick. Thanks for the help!

Which would heat the truck faster, having the re-circulation on or off?

In the cab? Then recirc. Because it just recycles the inside cab air and runs it through the heater core. With each pass, it gets warmer. With it off, it pulls outside air in and pushes through the heater core and into the cab. Only problem is that it creates moisture and doesn’t help defrost/defog windows.

AC with recirc helps with the humidity
