2k miles ago I installed 6112s and 5100s in the rear on my 2018 CM. I’m posting this for people with questions and I have some myself. One the 5100 do not adjust as I made this mistake on some bad research. The tech did say he maxed them out or adjusted them but I don’t think it did anything. I put the 6112s at the top setting and I’m nose high .75. I don’t like it lol. I should have gotten a shakel and left the rear suspension stock but oh well. I do feel like the front would ride smoother if at 1.9 and add a shim on either side. I do have some questions for you more experienced lifters out there. My front wheel have the camber in look towards the bottom \ / not to aggressive but noticeable. Do I need UCAs? Or can I drop it to 1.9 and add a shim and will fix it? I’m also hearing a popping noise when I turn left. It’s not all the time just on occasion.

Should probably have alignment rechecked, or post the #'s if you have them and either a shackle or block for the rear. I would leave them at top setting and remove front swaybar.

If your tires are pointed in the way you say that is not camber that is toe. From the photo below which is it? You deff need an alignment to correct that. Also for the rear grab som shackles try to find some used one that will help raise the rear up so you are not nose heavy.

You need to post your alignment numbers. I wouldn’t use the same alignment shop if they aren’t familiar with lifted trucks and didn’t align it properly.
I’m unfamiliar with Bills and the specs on the ring heights, but if you’re topped out in the front for height you might need upper arms to correct the issue and a shackle in the rear.
For the rear shackle I went ToyTec because they are adjustable in height.
Who ever installed your shit should’ve done their home work so you don’t have the pre-runner stance, if that’s not what you wanted.

It sounds like you need to drop the Bill ring down a notch and find a different alignment shop.

Thanks for all the help guys. It’s positive camber is what I got going on. I went to well known 4 wheel drive shop so this kind of crap wouldn’t happen. It drives fine but I know it’s going to hurt later on. I’ll find some where else to get it checked out and def like the Toyotec shakle, will be purchasing later. What would removal of the front sway bar do?

1.9 setting levels you. Anything higher and you need to raise the rear.

2000 miles isn’t enough to gauge how they feel. Mine are just starting to feel “broken” in with 8k miles on them. Mine is on 1.9 and it rides better than stock TRD Sport bilsteins did.

More than likely your alignment is off. Your camber is def way too positive if you can physically see the camber.

Removing front swaybar will soften the front end slighty (better ride at top setting) but also allow much better articulation offroad.

    ^^^This^^^

I saw a Tundra the other day, lifted front end with positive camber to the point that it was riding on the outside edge of the tire only. Looked really bad. Must have been seriously scrubbing the outside tread off the tires.

If you have heavy positive camber on the top setting and a good 4X4 alignment shop can't get it lined up properly, you'll probably need to lower the front or get different UCAs as you correctly mentioned in your first post.

Stock UCAs are limited in how much lift they can accommodate and still align ok.

When I do my lift/level I will be getting the Falcon shocks and setting them on the level setting (2") not the highest setting and see how it lines up. If it won't get good alignment numbers I guess I'll have to get new UCAs at that point.

You will have no problems with only 2” of lift. My alignment is dead on with 2” and there was plenty of adjustability left.

Lift is lift. Doesn’t matter if you are doing it with spacers or preload. Dropping down to 1.9 and adding shims will put the tires exactly where they are now. Lower it to 1.9 or buy uca’s. You might like the ride at 1.9 so much better anyways and you wont have to raise the rear

6112 top setting is about 2.5” of lift with a 4wd after settling. Maybe it achieves 2.75” to 3” with 2wd? Either way, the coil springs should have settled by now after 2,000 miles.

2.5” of front lift shouldn’t require aftermarket UCAs, but each truck is different. Personally, I’d keep it at the top setting, add a rear shackle for 1” rear lift, and then find a good alignment shop. If they still can’t get it aligned, then save some money by dropping the front to the 1.9” setting, or get aftermarket UCAs.

    Good luck!

Agreed. I have my Eibach Pro Sport shocks at the highest which claims 2” average lift with stock springs. I probably got more than 2 because mine is 2WD but my alignment guy said I had plenty of room left for more adjustment if it was higher.

Thanks guys for all the help. I’m going tomorrow to a deferent shop and see if they can get some of this camber out... if they can, I’m leaving it at the top setting and getting shackles to get me level. I hope I don’t have to drop cause I have 295s and might be cutting it close. Was rubbing before I did the heat gun trick lol.
