I found a brand new (3 miles), white 2019 Tundra TRD Pro for $52,600 out the door. From reading through the forums, it appears this a a pretty sweet deal. The truck has door cup/edge guards, 3M window tint, and all weather floor mats.

I still can't decide if I want to give up my 2018 Calvary Blue 4Runner TRD Pro for a 2019 Tundra TRD Pro, a 2019 Sierra AT4, or wait for the 2020 Tundra TRD Pro. However, at 6'8" and 350 lbs, I'm leaning towards a full size truck for the interior room and bed, but maybe I should just stick with the 4Runner.

    Any recommendations?

Get the Pro. That’s a pretty good deal.

What state are you in? I happen to know someone looking for a 4Runner in Calvary blue. :spy:

I’m no help on your question about pro pricing but the tundra space is nice!

A 4 Runner is a very different animal than a Tundra. Somewhere in your justification on one vs the other, should be the purpose of the vehicle. You are a big guy, the Tundra interior is a lot of space, and if you feel cramped and uncomfortable in the 4 Runner then it would be a better choice. Or maybe you could use the bed space. I'm a smallish woman but the interior space is a big plus when I go vacation truck camping, and the back holds the dirty mountain bikes away from the interior on the weekends while keeping them off rear bike racks where they are expensive bumpers. 2020 vs. 2019, well, what can I say. Maybe it will have a better sound system, maybe it will address some of the 'dated' things on the 2019. Maybe it will be more money. One thing I do know, is that the 2021 comes out only one year later and the 2022 only 1 year after that. There is always a next year. So look at what it is and what it does, compared to what you have, and what it does not have that you may want, and go from there.

Going from a Tacoma to a Tundra was night and day.

I am a little guy at 5'7 and 150 pounds though.

I feel like a BB in a large box but I am ok with that.

I can't believe you even bought a 4runner at your size! I feel cramped in the 4runner and I'm not near as big as you are. This is a no brainier, get the Tundra

My dealer just contacted me and said 2020 TRD PRO is on it's way.. Army Green.. Wait for the 2020. You will regret that 2019 purchase.

I came from a 2014 4Runner, and the difference is night and day, especially with the Crew Max. TONS of room, way more power, and the MPG between the two is negligible. I loved my Runner, but I love the Tundra even more! Look at what you will be using it for, and go from there.

What did you pay? 19’s are going for $3-4K below sticker. I doubt the 2020 will be below. Unless push start is worth $4k.

I have not purchased anything. I'm going for a 2020 platinum but he just texted me indicating the TRD PRO is coming. Push button isn't worth 4K but the 8 inch screen along with a myriad of new features is as a cohesive unit.

2020’s went into production on 8/1. I’d hold tight for the 2020. There is enough lifecycle changes that it’ll be worth it but you may want to not wait beyond that since the proven gen 3’s are going away in 2021. I own Tundra and 4Runner and I’m pretty small, can’t imagine being your size trying to squeeze into the 4Runner. My wife is 5’5” and complains about the small size of the 4Runner. Third world problems I know.

Push start isn't a TRD pro option only. Also, it is incorrect to indicate that it is a $4K option itself alone. It got clumped in with other stuff that you may or may not want.

2020's are pointless when the 19 is the same thing and both will depreciate like a mf'er with the new body style. Smart money gets a 19.

The fact that the 2020's are in production and there are 19' PROS still on the lot makes for good dealing time! Get as many things you can "thrown in" for the deal. I love 4runners, but at your size, you will be so much happier in the Tundra!

Agreed. I got a PRO so I won’t tell you not to get one, but use the situation to your advantage.
