People add a "shim" to the driver side to help compensate for the drive side lean without preloading the spring down more. Its a simple way to keep your truck level from driver to passenger side.

Checkout out our top plate spacer that we offer, easy install and is competitively priced  Any questions, let me know!

    Thanks

I have 5100's all the way around, and used Coach Builder shims up front with his shackles on the rear. Each shim adds a quarter of an inch in lift. I have the Bilsteins at the top setting, and added 1 shim to the passenger side with 2 on the driver side. Since there is more weight on the side of the truck due to battery, & gas tank this will better level it out. Not a necessity, but your personal preference. Some people don't even add the shims, and just use the shocks alone. Depends on what you are looking to accomplish. Park in a level area, and measure how you sit with all 4 wheels. That'll be your start point, and go from there.

Thanks for the Post @Skippy I don't think any vehicle sits perfect with some adjustment, We designed our Coachbuilder shims to fine tune the front suspension allowing you dial in that perfect stance. If I can help anyone please let me know. David 801-635-4872

Just got her back. I did the Bilstein 5100 middle setting with 2 CB shims on driver side and 1 on passenger. Thx to everyone with the recipe to help get me here

Thank you, I have all the parts I need to do this but shims.

What size tires did you get/go with on the 18" stock rims?
