Does anyone have pictures of their 5100s on middle and a cb shim, nothing in the rear?

This is mine with 5100's on the middle setting with 1 cb shim on each side and nothing in the back. With this setup I was even front and back. (I found then when I was carrying a load in the back or when I towed my popup trailer I was a bit nose high so I added shackles to the back set at 1" about 5 months after this was taken.)

How does this ride compared to stock? I'm waffling between this exact set up or 6112's.

I went from the stock TRD shocks to the 5100's on all corners and IMO the ride was a bit improved with the 5100's.

I think that it comes down to how you use your truck. My original goal was just to level the truck and I had no plans for taking the truck off-road. For this the 5100s worked great. I have since started taking my truck off-road and am currently looking to replace my 5100s with an MT setup. The 6112s would have been better for the trails here in northern California and would have bought me a bit more time but in the end, I would have replaced them as well.

Tires are 295/65 18. No rubbing after removing the small front mud flap and pushing the liner forward about an inch.

Thanks. 305/65-18 is a good size. What would increase the chances of the tires rubbing is the offset of your wheels. I am running wheels with a +25 offset and with this setup a 305/65 would work. If I was running wheels with a +1 offset then I would have had more trimming to do.

The 6112 is going to ride better than the 5100s regardless. 6112 has a softer spring which reduces the feel of every bump in the road and the larger body gives much better control in every aspect of the shocks rebound. I replaced my brand new (4500 miles) TRD Red bilsteins with 6112s and the ride was substantially better all around. I’ve used 5100s on my previous truck and the 6112 blows it out the water.

I have not measured for some time but I have not noticed any lean. I have read that the driver's lean may not show until there are some miles on the truck (I am almost at 25K). Also, I am running the 5100's with the stock springs and I've read that Toyota takes the lean into account and the stock driver side springs are different than the passenger side.

Thanks you! I'm at 30k miles right now and I just got my 5100's on the middle setting installed yesterday and they put 1 CB shim on each side. I initially only wanted one on the driver's side. I did have a lil lean prior to the 5100's so I already had 2 shims on the driver side and 1 on the passenger side with the stock suspension. So far its sitting fairly level, which is weird since I defenitely had the lean before.
