    Ok,

Heres a 4x4 newbe question, I'm to lazy to search for it or read the manual!

I have not yet been true 4 wheelin yet, I know your supposed to at least run it on 4x4 straight aways once in a while!

1st I do in 4Hi, and I usually stop and while in drive switch knob to 4Hi, is this correct and do I need to stop or can I do it while driving like 20mph or slower!

2nd I stop and while not moving I try to engage the 4Lo but all I hear is beeping sound so i just switch back to 2wd. Is there a certain method for 2Lo!

Any advice on the best methods for Lo and Hi switching!

Sorry for being lazy and not researching, ok no I'm not sorry just lazy! :bored:

    Thanks for any input!

There should also be a card on the driver side windshield visor that has all the instructions on how to use as well.

Based on the package the truck in the video us a 2017 or earlier. What model has that external temp display? Am I missing something in my settings?

I also have a reminder set in the Entune Maintenance screen. Once a month it will pop up and remind me to use the 4WD. Easy way to not have that " O Shit I totally forgot" moment 2 years later. I regularly use 4WD anyway on construction sites, but just in case we go through a dry spell and it is not needed for a while.

I don’t get a chance to use it off road as often as I’d like. I also don’t run it in 4x4 10 miles a month LOL. But I do turn it on for about 2 miles on a straight stretch of road on my way to work at least once a month.

Is that reminders ability only an Entune Premium (app suite) feature? Didn't notice when I was browsing my display system settings.

Auto LSD works well too, press the drunken driver (trac) button once and it should come on. But yea from 4hi to 4lo you have to put it in neutral, then turn the knob to 4lo. Same thing going from 4hi to 4lo, 4hi from 2wd you can switch anytime.

A little of this and a little of that.

As long as you’re going under 62 MPH. Don’t switch it into 4HI going faster than that....

Select APPS , then the right arrow to go to the next screen, then MAINTENANCE. In the bottom row are 3 custom/personal buttons that can be used for anything not in the pre-set options.
It can be programmed with reminders for either time or mileage.

Thanks. Appears to be. I don’t have a maintenance app.

    Good idea though
