so my local 4 Wheel Parts store is running a sale with no sales tax and fifty percent off suspension/ lift installation jobs. Not sure if it is nation wide. Anyways, if anyone has a friend please pass the word. This came from the store in Charleston SC.

Thanks for the info, so that should mean it's nationwide but I don't know for sure so I don't want to put out bad Intel. It's still a really good deal for anyone near a store to get everything they want installed and pay no tax. All that extra money can go towards other mods.
Just make sure they don't try to mark up their labor times and charge you more during their "sale".

Can’t disagree more, but parts are parts, and if they are selling cheaper and I need it I’ll buy it from them before spending $$$

I think 4WP is hit and miss. some locations are good and some locations suck. I had a great experience with the Austin location.

I wasn't dissing your post, just stating my opinion. If you don't like it or agree you can ignore my comments.

As for paying full price... I bet I paid less for my Icon 3.0s and rears than most pay for their pro-comp (4wp) lifts.

Chill out there Kemosabe. A lot of that info is already on here provided by vendors, myself and others. Learn how to search the forum.

Oh and welcome, I'm sure you'll fit right in

Nope, just my time. Because once again I'm having to search and provide links for a noob. I got my icons on a black friday special as did a couple others on here. There are also forum discounts that vendors offer on here if you look through the vendor section. I am not going to disclose specific pricing on here as there are multiple vendors that sell the same products. If you want to know exact totals than I would be happy to PM you.

If you want to know more about the icon 3.0 setup than here are a few links:

I hope this dies down before the wind picks up.

On the other hand, we've had little drama on this forum for a while :argue:, so it made for an entertaining read!

Thanks OP for sharing this deal. Probably several members will check it out, maybe save some big money!:hattip:

Not me though. I've read too many experience-based negative posts about 4WP that have convinced me,

Why does everyone seem to dislike 4WP. Are the mechanics hacks or do they just rip you off? Makes me nervous since they installed my 6112/5160s. I checked a couple shops close to me and they were way higher on price. Guess I need to find a good reputable shop.

There are some that Do a decent job though their mechanics fly in and fly out. The statement listed above “they are the PepBoys of off road” sums it up pretty well.

There are probably tons of good suspension jobs done by them, but they crank so many jobs out that the “custom” feel seems to be missing from some experiences. I don’t mind purchasing items from there, but if I’m getting work done then I would probably go to a smaller shop with a more personal experience where the guys working on the vehicle have a face and name

Everything was fine until you had to make some stupid comment again. I'll end this. Sorry I had a different opinion or view than you which seemed to offend you and got your little pink panties all bundled up.

No worries Mr Keithly. We are all just trying to help others in the end and have jovial fun while doing so. Not like we were arguing about Georgia or Bama fans or something. Arizona is much more sophisticated that those hillbillies.
