What do you mean you think it's moving?

    Describe the issue.

If youre getting a sort of thumping sound, SXTH claims its the blow off valves

    Yup.

I fully believe that the Turbosmart plumb back units will solve that.

someone in one of the fb groups said that SXTH is working on either a valve or plate. I cant hear anything with my Magnuson kit and this is the first kit that Ive heard people noticing a thump with too.

Other than that it's been a great setup. What I think I really need to do is a new adaptation of the ECM and TCM. Probably pull the battery at some point and let the truck sit so it can relearn all the new stuff on it. (JB4 and intakes).

I've also wanted to figure out my exhaust setup for some time now.

And I pulled mine off. Was getting codes. One valve has a little bend at the bottom which maybe causing the codes. Im wait till first quarter and see how well the revision 03 for Stillen cai looks.
Magnuson is coming out with something and no word of what it is. I would let myself get in trouble if they did upgrades for the turbo.

    What codes?

And valve? There shouldn't be any valves that would be bent for this installation.

I would not put the new turbos on a recalled engine. Buy it at a discount, break in the new engine and then slap them on

I think my joke came across a lot more dry than I was expecting it to lol. 100% wouldn't put them on there - the discount is attractive but I don't have anywhere to store extra parts for now.

im less concerned with storage and more so finding difficulty for someone “brave” enough to actually do the install. I too wanted to get them at discount and shelve them prior to getting my replacement motor but I have no idea when that actually will be. To have them sit for I’m guessing a year defeats the point for me

Clear lid cracked at some point. Cleaned out the filter recently and noticed a cracked corner on one of the lids. Bummer. I never touched the bolts there, they came pre-installed so they must've gone a bit hard on that one
