I have a iforce max and I’m looking at getting a cat back exhaust. Has anyone installed one on their hybrid motor?

How does the exhaust sound when the engine goes into hybrid?

It definitely sounds better than the OEM hybrid or non,my buddy has a hybrid and doesn't come close to what I have especially at a cold start up.
This set up makes it sound like a truck, remember it won't make a difference in sound hybrid or gas engine.
I'm aware it's a six banger and this is my first 6 cylinder truck ever, the displacement will never sound like an 8 but this helps it 100% better than how it came.
I don't know where you live or what exposure you have to others who have our trucks with different systems but they all do sound different, with that said when you go on YT and listen to all of the different types and manufacturers don't for get your listening through your phone, laptop or computer so it'll sound different,in person is the only way to truly hear how it will sound, and I have read here that some shops will mount and let you hear the difference before purchasing. I didn't have that luxury here in N.E. in my location there are no shops that cater to that kind of good stuff.

I wish I could lie and tell you what you want to hear but this is a good size purchase and you want to be good and happy with it,in fact there are people here selling there systems that they weren't happy with and sell them for cheap $ on 3rd gen marketplace.
If you were closer we could meet up but that's not the case.

When you decide on one go the extra mile and make sure it is a good grade of SS don't cheese out and get a crap product.
Oh and not to put one more thing on the to do want list but...
If you really want to hear the engine get CAI you will really hear these turbos spoiling up and blow off with this mod.
Man hearing those mixed with the exhaust is awesome, especially laying into while driving through a tunnel or under an overpass!
Yeah you'll love that mod to.

    I wish you luck man.

There’s no need to guess. I’ve engineered and built exhaust systems specifically for tundras since 2003. I daily a 23 TRD pro. My business model is custom bolt on exhaust. With over 100 options we just need to quick chat over the phone to discuss your needs and wants in a system. Then we build it and ship it right to your front door. And you simply bolt it on using simple hand tools.

the stock muffler has a quarter wave resonator built into it. All aftermarket systems drone on our trucks. And most have a raspy Honda civic sound. I’ve resolved both of these issues. Search YouTube for dirtydeedsindustries , that’s my channel. Scroll thru. There’s a few really good videos which depict a clean, deep sound. And call for details. 760-877-4234

Is there a difference in an hybrid and non hybrid exhaust?
