I am looking at options for some really bright work lights for the bed of the truck. The cargo lights in the 3rd brake are just not enough (even with super bright bulbs).

Has anyone done a mod, or seen an option to install a BD type Rock light off of the 3rd brake light, and make it look good/clean?

I was going to install two lights on the front rail of the bed, but I would really prefer them to be higher up.

    Any options/suggestions?

Here is a product for a 3rd brake light mount with an antenna and two BD Rock lights. Unfortunately, it is not (currently) available for the Tundra.

I added a flush mount s2 work light. In a angled rago mount to my roof rack

At the same time I rewired my third brake light to be all three brake light bulbs

Thanks. I was not aware of this. I will definitely check it out. How easy was it to install? Does it use the existing mounting screws/holes?

You have to drill 4 holes then with the supplied hardware you put 4 nut inserts in and screw it down hardest part is taking the old light out

    Too many mods to come
Another vote for the Evil MFG unit. Install is a pain but worth it

Hey @fireman_pete, There are a ton of different options on the market for the third brake light. I just wanted to mention for all the options utilizing our S2 lights we offer interchangeable lenses with our Uservice program. What this means for you is that if you do get a clear lens initially and want to change to amber or even a different lens pattern to achieve a different zone we sell replacement lenses that can be switched out. Depending on the 3rd brake light you get may interfere with this option but from a light standpoint, it will be present.
    Best,
    Brandon
