Good afternoon! I just purchased my new lift (Icon stage 5) and am looking at making the jump to 35s. Money is tight however so for the time being I am looking to try and use my stock TRD rims and put 295/70R18 STT pros on them. I know that I might have to do a BMC, but is there any glaring issue with this plan that I am missing? Thanks in advance.

Don’t think you’ll need the BMC with TRD wheels and stage 5 icon. Nice lift

Oem tonneau, side steps, spray in liner. Trd skidplate.
295's will not need a bmc on factory wheels for sure. Front wheel spats are the most that would have to come off, I was able to keep mine by adding a 3rd screw in middle of spat (there is a good 1/2" 'slack' in them the way they are oem mounted).

Also consider 295/75/r18 for stock wheels. This is what is on my radar. Slightly narrower, basically 35x11.
Just saw you’re looking at a particular tire model. Don’t think they come in this size. It may be worth a look at other brands to get the size you want.

I'm running 5100s at top setting and TRD wheels on 305/65/18R BFGs KO2 it it does not rub. I also added 1" Bora spacers.

Do you have a pictures? With the Pro wheels being the same size and offset, I'm wanting to do the same tire/spacer as your set up. Just want to see how far it kicks it out. Not telling you to do a full photo shoot buuut some front, down the side and from the side shots would be great.

I did 305 70 18s on my 2016 with 2" spacers, had to do the bmc, the rubbing wasn't bad at all, removed from mud flaps and pushed plastic forward, that was on 3" lift. Then I added a fab fours bumper, that helped alot for clearance

D5EBFD24-3A95-4D89-AF03-86CB33B8FFFE.jpg Just put on 315/70/17 Nitto ridge grapplers on rock warrior wheels, 2019 platinum stock height and remove mud flaps. No rubbing at all. Surprised it worked... sort of since this forum helped so much.
