I’ve been following them for years. Big promises and dreams, but very little progress.

They are the first and only electric truck “OEM” with a real vision of a truck for truck owners to do truck stuff.

To hear the guy talk, they've had no problems with getting funds. Maybe it's ramping up.

    Too many, but not enough....
Wouldn't mind getting out of the crypto game and switching to this. 1500 bucks seems like a safe dive into this company. While I am in no way a fan of electric cars as an enthusiast who loves the noise, smell, maintenance and such, I'm all for electric development so it leaves more gas for me to burn.

I’m not unaware of Atlis, but their site had a very “Nigerian Prince” atmosphere.

And 35K towing? Yeah, OK. Just WTF are you going to hook up behind a pickup truck with a GVW that high? A damn space shuttle?

So you disbelieve the towing capacities that the big 3 claim for their 3500s, too?

Halftons aren't the only place the big 3 compete for the biggest numbers, surprisingly enough.

Atlis has imo the best looking concept trucks as far as looks and configurations (long bed option) vs the angry hippopotamus Rivians, but i’ll believe it when I see it. Promises promises..

They've got a great concept but their website says they've raised 7 million so far? Rivian is over 10 BILLION in investments raised. On the surface ......with eyes elsewhere it may look like Atlis is gonna have a hard time bringing something to market anytime soon. But I read not too long ago they signed a contract with the US military, not only to produce EV's but to convert existing ICE vehicles. Not sure what they're plan is our where the actual focus is.

Hey, I have an idea, lets all go invest all of our money in the company. I am sure some random guys in a shed with some sheet metal tools will have no problem releasing a truck for a reasonable price that vastly outperforms all of the major automotive companies by miles! And I bet they can make them by the 10's or 100's of thousands without issue!

And even then, Rivian is having a tough time getting it off the ground. Trucks exist but they are rolling out ridiculously slow.

And then they just went and tried to increase the base pricing on the trucks including the people who had already ordered them. They can't make the trucks for the price they claimed. And that price is incredibly high.

If I am buying a truck for 90k it better do truck stuff well. It better be able to tow my travel trailer more than 100 miles in perfect conditions, it better be able to offroad well, it better do everything a truck should do well. Otherwise, why would I buy a truck.

At the end of the day, it's going to take the Big 3 to roll out usable, reasonably priced, EV trucks in mass quantities.

Don’t get me wrong; I think it’s cool. And those numbers are awesome. But will $7M in capital makes it seem like no one really takes it seriously at this point. Looks like they’re a really long way from anything.
