    Hi All,

Just getting the 30K mile service at the dealership and was wondering if it is recommended to swap out the:
    1. Fuel induction service
    2. TB service - injector
    3. Brake fluid service
    Much appreciated!

The MAFS and Throttle body could probably DIY with $20 worth of cleaner and about 20 minutes of your time. injector cleaner, I just drop in a bottle in an empty tank and fill in 10-15 gallons and drive to empty then fill full - I do about 40k +/-

Edit for the MAFS and TB - I can get a few cleanings done out of the bottles

Brake fluid seems a little soon but could probably let them do it if you don't want to mess with a full fluid flush ~ if that's what they're doing

Classic dealership scam. They'll probably charge you $100 for the first 2 items, each! Brake fluid is important though, and I'd clarify if they're flushing or bleeding. To me, a flush means all fresh fluid throughout the system, vs a bleed which is removing any air (if found) from the lines.

So in the bleed scenario, are they just cracking the bleeder and checking for air for 2 seconds before closing the valve again? That's not worth the $150 or whatever they'll charge.

no on all of that. Oil change, fluid changes for diffs, xfer case, trans- all drain and fill no flush. Then the usual checks for anything that needs attention and roll on!
