Ok, so bought a used 19 SR5 Sport crew max. Came with a level kit on it. I think that its a 3/1 but im not 100% positive, pretty damn sure tho. Has the 20” Fuel Crush wheels with -18 offset wrapped in 295/60r20. Its barely rubbing the body mount. I plan on replacing the spacers with the RC 3.5” lift with exteded strut bodies, no spacers and CB shackles in the rear. (I know, im a cheap ass) but itll work for what im doing. And still may change my mind... anyways. I want to go to a 35 tire. Im assuming that .5” isnt going to make a huge difference for the rubbing factor. And from what ive read it seems like i should be able to run 35s with out BMC. Is it the -18 offset that it causing my issue? Recommendations/advice?
I really dont want to go to a 6inch lift. Not completly against the BMC although i really rather not. also open to new wheel set as im normally more a fan of a 35 on 18 vs 20. But i really do love the wheels that are on it. TIA

Always hard to tell for sure. But pretty sure you’ll need that chop. I’ve seen many that look really good. Much less cutting to the truck than going to 6”.

It is the offset of your wheels that is causing your tires to rub. I run 35x12.5s on a 3 1/4 lift with +25 offset wheels with no rubbing and no cab mount chop. I ran the same tire/wheel combo with a 2” lift and no rubbing (I do have an aftermarket front bumper but the 35s would have fit with a stock bumper and bumper shims).
