Installed my new Tundras decal! Thanks @Bob for the new hookup!

I like how it’s more visible than the last setup. From more angles too :)

Did you figure out a good CV replacement or did you stick with the same heavy duty cv’s you had? I’m about to do about the same set up as you are and I plan to replace the cv’s and wheel bearings while I’m upgrading. Your truck looks great btw!

Thanks. So far I’m still on the same hd Napa units. After talking to my parts guy there, he suggested keeping the old cv axle as they have lifetime warranty. Then, when the next one fails I’ll just return the first failed one in the box with the second ones receipt. If that makes any sense haha. I pretty much gave up the hunt for high angle cv’s after that conversation. Also, it’s been good since, touch wood

I just saw this post, thanks. It’s single exit on the passenger side. I’ve blacked out a 4” tip to add since. I’m waiting for body work to finish before I install it. It’s adding length to the exhaust as well to clear fender flares and the new wheels offset.

Just a few small inspection deficiencies to finish and the house is done. Had some time to do a few much needed mods.

First, I had to relocate my hitch saddle receiver. After I re-enforced the bumper with the plating, I couldn’t fit the hitch into the original spot.

Second, I added some more bmc.

I also welded the exhaust tip onto the truck.

I did plugs on the goat. Same set for about the last 200k (km). A few of them have burnt tips. It seems to idle much nicer as well. Cleaned all the coils up and dielectric greased them up. Installed the plugs with anti-seize, unlike the last time they were replaced. PSA, please put anti-seize on plugs y’all!

Had plans of changing oil today, but decided to order an engine oil pan gasket and wait for it to show up first. It’s barely had a weep since I’ve owned it, but it’s time to stop it. Ordered a fumoto valve too.

Got the rear fender liners installed. Used new Amazon clips, which was so satisfying:) I had them out because I was planning on painting the truck this summer. House stuff took priority so next summer it is. Winter prepping :annoyed: Y’all can see why I choose to add a heat shield to the exhaust tip here too :hattip:

Did you have any problems getting the plugs out (looks like they're all intact)? I almost want to change mine now (48k) just so they get some anti-seize and not break off when I try to change them later...

I’m not gunna lie, I was seriously worried on two of them. I got them out with a horrible sounding squeal as thread’s grinded themselves through the rusted treads all the way out. Ample amounts of copper coat for the installs. I actually Threaded the two worst ones in, then out and in again to ensure full coverage. I’d do it now if I was you. Not a bad job if your not sweating the whole way you thread em out.

I haven’t driven it long enough to tell. I can only imagine it should help slightly. It clearly runs smoother throughout the powerban. It holds rpm steadier at highway speeds as well.

Got the front fender liners and flares Installed for the winter season. Won’t get to bedlining the goat till next summer at this point-damn priorities.

So, since it’s not being painted for a year, I Masel show y’all the wheels I picked and was keeping quiet until lit reveal. But that’s way too long to keep y’all waiting;). Anyway, I haven’t seen them on a Tundra yet and love how they are pure black. Enjoy:burp::hattip:
