Hey guys, looking into some bolt on sliders for my 2013 double cab.

I want/like the idea of wheel to wheel protection as well as steps for my kids and family.

I like the ideas of bolt ons vs welding.

I will not/do not serious off roading. Maybe some easy trails for camping.

    anything in the $800 range?

I just installed the set of the Tyger's I picked up about two months ago for $60.00, Brand new with a couple scuffs.

Much better than the Ionic 41's i previously had on. Very solid...

    Thanks for the suggestions guys/gals.

I am actually looking for proven off road sliders, wheel to wheel that bolt on.

steps and sliders are not the same

If you want real sliders- check Rocky-Road.com. They have about 4 different bolt on options starting at $600ish. If you want steps and not sliders... plenty of places online for those.

You’re right about that. Best sliders with wheel well to wheel well protection are White Knuckle.

But they’re more than you need if you’re not looking to do serious off-roading. Check out SDHQ’s sliders. They’ll stand up fairly serious off-roading, and will support the weight of the truck and mount close to the body while still working as a high step— but they don’t extend all the way back to rear wheel well.

thanks, have actually seen there website but the website is not very clean and they do not have exact photos of each style of sliders they offer. Just a bit confusing.

5 bolts through frame each side + 5 extra that you drill if you want (for serious off road).

the new 2 parts design sliders from C4Fab is interesting too. They put out good stuff usually.

I wouldn't say SDHQ is wheel to wheel, close but comes up a little short at the rear wheel. Tough sliders though. WKOR is what I wish I'd gotten but my All Pro's have held up fairly well. I think OP might be able to find 'em in the $800 range. I think some NorCal guys (@InfernoPRO) have gotten 'em for just under $700

I was able to sell my wife on the All Pro’s as steps since the top is fully plated. If you are in NorCal Morgan from Sidetrackoffroad can get you a good deal. Just need to call.

I like idea of a full top plated slider.

I am in SoCal but would certainly take a few hour drive to save a few hundred on shipping costs.

thanks to all the replies this far. White knuckle is not too far from me either.

Ooh, San Diego?!! Welcome from East County. Once you get sliders installed, hit me up if you decide you do want to do a little off-roading.

wheelers has sales on all pro from time to time. usually 20% off. They are in Fresno. worth the drive. My buddy bought their sliders last sale and drove from L.A. to Fresno.Usually in stock items too which is nice.

WKOR is in Apple valley but wait time 6 to 8 weeks. they have a 15% off sale once a year on black friday. very nice people and they only charge you when you pick up the sliders.

Black Friday is going to be murder on my wallet this year. Haha

    thanks for all the input.

My first choice will be APs if they fit or have a double cab option.

    WKOR will be next.

I could not find “wheelers” in Fresno. Does anyone have a link

I’m looking at options for bolt on sliders for my 2020 Double Cab. I’m interested in ones with a kick out and top boats that bolt to the frame. Not a lot of options.

Most companies advertise for Crew Max only. My question is that if the DC and CM share the same wheel base wouldn’t they share the same frame? This would make any sliders advertised for Crew Max fit the Double Cab. Can anyone confirm?

I recently emailed westcott and CBI, both companies said they are not making anything for the double cab. When I asked about the length of the sliders and will it work, they have no clue, they only worked on and scanned the crewmax.

I found a local guy in San Diego who uses CAD and outsources the building overseas. He swore the crewmax and double cab are the same fit. When they arrived they didn’t but he was able to fab them to work. Seems like there were a few holes that didn’t line up on the frame and the gas tank is in the way. There’s about a 6” gap between end of slider and the end of the panel before the rear wheel. Overall they seem to be really well built. He uses 2” tubing. I banged them up outside of Joshua Tree and was stoked to have them. Can’t remember what I paid but it was somewhere around $900

and for another option you can check out WKOR (white knuckle off road) as they make sliders specifically for the DC...

I picked up a set of WKOR sliders off of somebody. Stilled wrapped in plastic. Fit and finish were excellent and drilling holes for the additional mounting points wasn't a big deal. I initially were avoiding them because they required it but turns out it wasn't bad. Highly recommend them.
