Just had my 295/70’s installed today on my CrewMax. No rubbing front or rear and no spacers needed. They’re Toyo Open Country R/T’s and cannot believe how quiet they are compared to the BFG MT’s they replaced. First time I’ve heard my dual exhaust while driving in quite some time.

Tires look great! Glad to hear no rubbing - when I get my next set of tires I’ll probably go up to that size.

Just installed falken wildpeak 295/70r18s with 1.25 spidertrex spacers. Have readylift 3/1.5 lift. Rubs at full lock in reverse will need to do trimming and possible CMC.

Does it rub without the spacers? I read of at least one truck that only rubbed with the spacers.

I have read this also. I am running 295/70 Cooper Discoverer on my truck with stock TRD offroad wheels with no wheel spacers and it doesn't rub.

I installed the same tire's a few weeks ago with 3/4" spacers and had minor rubbing in reverse. Solved that tonight with adding a small screw in the back of the flap into the plastic inner fender.

    Nice setup!
    Are those stock 18" wheels?
Did you use a 3/1 leveling kit?
    Thanks.

@rznhales normally wouldn’t bug you, but these guys ^ asked some good questions and your truck looks too good for us to not have answers man.

@tundra121 did you end up have to grind down the studs to get them not to poke out with those 3/4” spacers on?

There are pockets in the back of the factory wheels between the existing studs so machined a 5x150 bolt pattern recessing approx 2 mm into the pockets to line up with the studs. Worked perfectly Wheel specialist ensured it wasn't compromising the integrity of the factory wheels.
