I've been trying to figure out what wheels I want. It's between the method 313 (17") and the new FN BFDs (18"). I really want the BFDs, but I have a friend willing to give me almost new K02s in 285/70/r17 off their Jeep after deciding to go with 35s. This makes me reconsider the methods. I currently have about a 2" lift in the front with Elka IFPs. Will the 285/70/r17 look too small? Are there really many advantages of going 17" over 18" wheel? I don't offroad much, mostly some dirt roads camping, and I tow a boat a lot.

I still haven't heard on availability of the BFDs. It's supposed to be out now. I think Method still has their 15% off sale till tomorrow too, so I need to make a decision.

I have 18" Methods and love them. Paired with 295/70/18 tires. I think Methods are a great choice, and as far as if the 285/70/17's are too small, just personal preference :). Those are a hair shy of 33", so you definitely wouldn't have rubbing issues, that's a plus!

Thanks. I ended up going with the BFDs and 275/70/18. I'm happy with the look but surprised the ride is more rough going from 20 to 18. PXL_20201010_210822591.jpg
