Ok trying to figure this out have been up and down the forum and have no real idea.
Currently I have a stock 2017 SR5 with TRD wheels and 275x65x18 Coopers.
Tuesday I am having 5100's put on all fours on the middle setting up front. I chose the middle setting because I am also going to order a topper and do not want the front higher than the rear. My plan was to upgrade the tires to Michelin Defender load range E 275x70x18. I do not want to trim anything other than removing the front mud flap if necessary.

    Will this work?
    Anyone running this setup?

    Thanks Tony

I have a 2015 TRD DC and my 5100s were just delivered. My Falken wildpeak 275/70/18 tires were delivered last week. Waiting for time to get both installed. Also going with the middle setting on the front. Everything that I have read says everything should work out fine.

@k9shag, no you won't have to do anything. Your only going up a little over 1" and keeping same width.

You should be fine I'm running 275/70/18 with no lift and I didn't have to do any trimming.

Here Is a pic after the 5100 install. Front on middle setting. The tires are Cooper 275/65/18. I will be going to Michelin Defender 275/70/18 I think. Although staying with the current size will keep my speedo correct and save a little fuel.

I have to admit I just drove over 400 miles on a trip to DC and the difference in the ride was very noticeable. For the better.

Nice truck. I run that size in Ridge Grapplers on stock TRD OR suspension, no issues at all.

The difference in circumference is just over 3%.

So if if speedo reads 70mph you may actually be going 72-73.

Oh. I never scrolled down before. The site actually gives you the speedo info as well.

    Here is the promised pic.
My driveway is not level. The front measures 39 1/4” from the ground and the back is 40 1/4”. The ride may be a little stiffer than it was, but the old shocks had 73,000 miles on them. The tires are as quiet as advertised and if they last as advertised I will be very happy. I bought everything on Amazon. Tires $710, 5100s $352. Tires mount, balance, alignment, and strut install was about $500. So about $1550. I do notice that I need to stretch a little more to get in the drivers seat. May need to get the driver side grab handle in the future. There is no clearance issues. I am very happy the way everything turned out.
