Does anybody have insider scoop on what’s coming for the 2027 Tundras?
I know there’s still some time from finding out but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

All they have said is that the word "TOYOTA" will be on the outside of the tailgate.

    HD version with a diesel.

Gas models will have 100k oil change intervals, but will require new spark plugs every 5k.

Well, personally, I'd like to see a newer V8. Not the UR engine. While all praised and what not, it's old now. Like what Toyota did with the new Gazoo racing and sports cars. Their new 4ltr twin turbo V8. I don't mind seeing something like that but a slightly downsized version of the UR engine or even the same displacement as the UZ 4.7ltr V8 with a witchcraft snail slapped on it for these trucks.

Knowing Toyota: '27 will either be a refresh or just a carry on with different new color(s) and minor changes. All I want to know is that the V35 issues are behind us. Rest of the truck is solid imo.

No updates. there have been no changes to design drawings, no updates besides small color choices. This is Tundra after all, 5 years is not enough for any MID life update. MID=MINOR. Love the guesses though, this is like last year on here, "2026 is it, definitely LCI". haha

I heard they will have an official buy a tundra get one replacement engine free in specially marked packages (non-hybrids).

Gassers will also come with a 14" dildo that has metal debris wedged throughout so they can get fucked raw just like the hybrid owners.

Hybrid only. That way Toyota can be finished with all this recall stuff, since they refuse to recall hybrid models.

Late 2026 we start seeing tundra commercials that show nothing but a shadowy profile of a truck that’s very blurry and undefined… then words banner across the screen saying “ The undisputed legend returns with a modern twist, 22RE-Turbo SC.

Custom bug spat pattern hood, grill & bumper. Dead Live Oak leaf collection under hood, cowl and lower fenders. Beach sand custom floor covering.
With the current fad in styling the grill will be much larger and 28 inch wheels (chrome of course) with 10 series tires will be standard through all trims.

The 2027 Tundra is going to offer a base truck to appeal to those who don't want all this fancy, overstyled garbage with BS tech.

It will feature a new V8 option, no direct injection, no turbos, no cylinder deactivation, none of those tricks. There will also be a good old fashioned, tried-and-true 5 speed automatic transmission paired with this V8.

The massive, ugly honecomb grille will be significantly toned down as will the overly boxy design.

A crew cab with a 7 foot bed will be an option for the first time in a Tundra, giving customers the best of both worlds for interior comfort and hauling capabilities.

Inside, the option of cloth (various cloth materials from over the years will be offered... I heard the cloth used in the early 2nd gen Tundra will be the most popular option) with a front bench seat will come standard. A non-touchscreen interior will come standard as will the return to regular, old school gauges and the lack of the 4 inch info center in the middle of that gauge cluster. If customers want a 6-disc CD changer, they will offer it. If they want a tape player so they can hook up their smartphone to the truck, they will also offer that.

Nannies such as the annoying TPMS, traffic alert, lane assist, etc will not come on this basic package. There will also be not an electronic parking brake, but a foot activated one.

I can't wait to order this truck!
