    1. Any Toyota part or accessory is warrantied for one year unlimited mileage. If the accessory is purchased as part of the original purchase agreement, then it is covered under the 3/36 warranty. This comes from 23 years in Toyota Service.

    2. Correct you couldn't buy it as late as July, so you wouldn't have been able to include it to your purchase. So this would make it one year on the warranty.

Here is the one I did. The sway bar is installed the same way as the one shown above.

Did the first one at work. Not a fan of the sway bar decision they made. But it does drive nice. 275/65r20, programmed PCs and all that jazz just fine.

I’ll be keeping my first gen though after seeing the price. Oof

same question…how long did the install take?

…and does it look like the Pro Sway bar and end links may change the situation (I.E fit on this non pro one with the lift kit?)

Haven’t had a pro yet to look at. Install took a full day. ~8hrs. (To be fair, had to setup the new strut compressor which took a bit of time)

I see you removed the driving lights, could you have left those in at the customer's request?

I would personally. This trucks getting sold with all this. Legally we have to remove them in Indiana

I wonder how these compare to the TRD Pro’s stock Fox suspensions as far as ride quality. Toyota should’ve just offered a 3” Fox option instead of just having the 1” that comes with the Pros. It would’ve saved me the extra headache.

I find it drives well. No idea how the pro drives yet. Still stock rear springs. So I’m sure the pro is fairly soft feeling in the back compared to the TRD lift

It took about 7 hours, but we were doing a video at the same time, and it was the first one. It will go a lot quicker next time. Had to take it to get aligned afterwards. Only charged the customer $1149 for labor including the alignment, but would probably charge $1500 on the next one plus $149 for an alignment.

Does anyone know if the front lift is built into the trd shock or the trd spring or both? Looking to piece together my own kit like I did with my 4runner, it worked out very well. I ran 5100s front and back, toytec front springs, UCAs, and a 1” rear spacer. Im only looking for a 2” front lift (level) and Firestone airbags in the rear (.5” ish lift and keep me level under tow). I would rather avoid spacers and the need for UCAs this time. Steering towards the trd lift kit front bilstein shocks on oem springs and the Firestone bags in the rear. I haven’t ran across any aftermarket stiffer springs yet so it would be a bit different than my 4runner setup. Any solid insight would be appreciated but I know I may be making my own finds on this one.

Both I think is the answer you are look for if I recall correctly. FF and watch from 3:30 of this video and I think it will answer your question.

A lot of folks in your situation are seemingly going with Dobinson rear springs (you can get them in 3 different stiffness) and it has the 2” rear lift built in.

There’s definitely a difference in overall height in the video but it’s hard to tell where the spring seat is at. Thanks for the help!

The TRD lift is from the springs and rear block not the shocks. I know what you’re saying with 5100 OEM springs raised, I had that on my Tacoma. The TRD lift front shock doesn’t have an adjustable ring it’s a 3” spring. You can just buy front assembled shocks and the rear airbags to achieve what you want and Dobinsons 2” front would be nice or one with an adjustable coil, you don’t need a UCA unless you want to buy one or you are 3+” lift.

I see it, you could level it with the shocks.

Maybe, possibly. But… no different than adjusting 5100s. I’m willing to try it and come back with results good or bad.
