2022 Tundra Red Platinum

Are there any pictures of the 2022 platinum tundra in red? I can only find limited.

Go to the Toyota website and they have all the colors available by trim.

 

I tried this but still shows the 2021 tundra. Im more looking to see what the platinum grill looks like with red

the grey surround looks really stupid

have to have color match with this new tundra, otherwise its looks bad up front

can this pic be correct?? I thought all the Platinum's had the I-Force hybrid engine..?

 

Will Toyota offer color match OEM or is this a aftermarket thing? I agree all red would look better.

The TRD Pro is the only trim level that doesn't have the non-hybrid option.

 

And the sr-sr5

 

The SR-SR5 doesn't have a hybrid option
The PRO doesn't have a non-hybrid option

 

Only option for OEM is to go SR5 with the TRD Sport package.

 

But can you fit 40s?

I was just going to say I like the grey surround (better than chrome for sure). But now I don't want to look stupid so I won't say it.
But yes I agree, the Sport with the color matched is probably the best option.

Hold up, the SR5 has no hybrid? What?

Maybe it will in a couple of years.

 

In many of the videos they state the limited as the lowest trim the hybrid will be available. Toyota could change this moving forward based on market demand, but that appears to be the way the 2022 model will come.

 

I think it depends on your location. That same URL for me does not show the drop down to pick model.

 

The TRD Pro has color matched surround. And the Capstone will, based on that one pic.

 

Correct, but the Pro has black door handles, mirrors, fenders and tailgate and the Capstone has chrome door handles and mirrors.

 

I thought we were just talking about the grille surround.

 

Man, can they get that grill any bigger? Almost looks like they are trying to turn it into a locomotive.
