Came across this, this morning and didn't see it mentioned anywhere on here. Thought owners and future buyers might be happy to hear about it. Skip to the 50 second mark. My wife is crossing her fingers that her new Venza might get the same update.

Was posted a few weeks ago when it came out. I think the infotainment and computer updates will be a lot more beneficial.

Fantastic news for Tundra owners. Wonder if they could do this for the Gen 2.5 trucks?

Looks like there is hope for the Tundra. However, doesn't sound like 2022's will get it.

This needs to happen. Shutting the truck off is annoying. Furthermore we should be able to set run time in the Truck Settings/App for 5,10 or 15 mins.

Can they? Absolutely. Will they? I seriously doubt it. At least they learned for later models. I hope the moron who decided to shut the truck off when you open the door is looking for a job.

This feature has not yet been released, nor has it been "officially" announced by Toyota. So no, TechStream won't get you anywhere. There will need to be firmware updates done on different modules for this to work. I would assume that they are also working on a few new revisions based on turbo failures and a few other quirks of the driving experience.

Has there been any progress/updates on this being an OTA update potentially available on 2022 trucks?
