Any decent options that are already out?

I had the 3TPAM from expedition essentials on my Tacoma and loved it.

I ordered mine from ICS since it was (still is) on sale coming up on 4 weeks ago. They're running 4-6 weeks for shipping right now. Sucks that it's so long, but price is pretty competitive. I've got a Garmin unit that I use while out of cell coverage plus a dash cam for daily driving. Looking forward to cleaning up my dash mount setup.

Yikes! Ordered mine 6/2 and was hoping the 4-6 week lead time on their site was accurate.

I looked back at my email receipt. I ordered on 5/14. It will be 6 weeks this Saturday. I figured on 8 weeks when I pulled the trigger.

The last 2 years has taught me that lead times are never as short as vendor says. CBI says it'll be 10 weeks on my Baja winch bumper. I'll be surprised if I get it any sooner than 3 months.

Reached out to ICS and they said they have a batch coming in from powder so hopefully it's in the next week or two.

Nice! Nothing on my end, but I ordered like 2 months after you. Hopefully they have a bunch of product in and are now focusing on the shipping.

Yikes. 13 weeks for you. I'm at 8 weeks now. I'm not really in any hurry. I guess irks me is when vendors says 4-6 weeks and then continue to say "4-6 weeks" knowing they can't hit that. Just be honest. If it's going to take 13 weeks, just say so. At the very least, it'll keep people from clogging up their customer service chat. Their website continues to say 4-6 weeks BTW.

On a side note...I'm glad I ordered when I did. They've changed the offering and increased the price. You used to be able to order just the dash mount without the additional passenger and/or driver's side holders. Now, you can only order it as a complete unit and they bumped up the "sale" price to $180.

this thing is pretty confusing. I got the plate on and that works fine. unfortunately the phone mounts cover the screws that hold the plate down. Not sure how i can line up and tighten the phone mounts and secure the plate down.

I took a looks at the instructions and it looks like you need to leave 4 top holes on the plate open for the install of the braces. You will also need install the mount (ball or amps) to the side braces before screwing it on.

Looking forward to getting mine...whenever that will be. I've got a Trigger 6-Shooter Control System on the way and I'm thinking about mounting the toggle switches on this.

Lol, I asked for an update since they told me they would ship last week and they are "waiting on powder" again. Would prefer that they just tell me I'm getting it end of July or August instead of the "shipping next week" responses.

haha. Same. I've chatted them once a week for the past 3 weeks. Each time they tell me a variation of the same line: "We'll have more orders shipping next week. We're waiting on blah blah blah." It'll be 9 weeks tomorrow for me. I would like to get it so I can put my switch panel on it for my Six Shooter setup.

I, rather politely mind you, suggested they should think about updating their order page because it still says 4-6 weeks. The person on the chat never said anything and disconnected after that. haha.

What are you gonna do? [Shurgs] They're pretty much the only game in town right now and I think they know it.

That's awesome. Looks like they're catching up. I got mine last Saturday so it was right at 10 weeks. Going to work on installing this, along with my ditch lights, and Trigger 6 Shooter this weekend.

I wasn't happy with my travel trailer backup camera (Furrion S7) monitor sat using the suction cup to the windshield. It felt like it blocked too much of my view. However, there was no way to lower it short of shoving it further toward the bottom of the windshield and that was a pain to take on and off. I wanted something that I could put in easily and remove easily. I ended up using a dashboard tray along with a 90mm mount disk to implement what I wanted. The tray is easily added and removed and the 12V plug keeps the tray nice and snug when seated. The mount disk fits nicely in the center partition of the dashboard tray. I'm not sure if the mount disk was required as there is a smooth surface underneath but I wanted a firm mount. Here's what it looks like:

Although this picture shows the mount at an angle, I ended up rotating it back after playing around with the angles.

Brilliant. I was looking at doing the exact same thing as you for the exact same reason. The ICS option is pricey for the temporary nature of my needs.

going to order the tray this weekend now.

Thanks for the idea. I have a dash cam I was trying to figure out how to mount without having to take it off everytime I wanted to put on the sunshade. I think this idea would work well.

If you have access to a 3D printer (check your local library if you don't have access to one), you can also print a shroud that I created to block the sun since the monitor isn't that bright even with the brightness cranked.
