Still patiently waiting. I was hoping Toyota would release more info, such as colors.

Has anyone seen the official color deck? Hopefully the nightshade comes out sooner than later.

    Ciao

That army green would look a lot better if they dropped the chrome in favor of black. The color just doesn't lend itself to bling, it should be aimed at a utilitarian look.

Plasti dip is good but thats for guys with fear of commitment. I would sand it and hit it with bed liner myself. Same with the fender trim and rear bumper if it's chrome.

I'm liking the black pillar but in my opinion whenever you two tone a car you should border it with a clean pin strip. Hides any crooked transition and makes a nice accent.

I don't know if I am going to want to spend the $70K to get a TRD PRO but the Solar Octane is my favorite color. They got rid of cav blue and I would love for quicksand to come back.

well that going to be a problem since solar is exclusive to the TRD Pro currently. maybe if you wait 2-3 yrs that toyota eventually will offer solar to the normal tundras.

I thought the TRD Pro was going to be CM short bed only.

Nice, so I may have the almost last year of Cavalry Blue! Shame, such a beautiful color. Hate that the new TRD Sport packages aren’t color matched everything either….

I’m guessing Toyota is reserving Cavalry Blue for the TRD Pro trim in a coming year?

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
My 4 year old son without being prompted has declared Solar Octane to be “Orange Truck!”, asked what truck he likes, his answer without hesitation: “Orange Truck!”.

He can start driving in South Dakota at age 14, so if I wait another year or two there’s a good chance my next truck will be his first vehicle. Guess he might as well get to pick the color. I’m ambivalent as long as it’s not a dark color that will show every bit of dust and swirl marks, but it will mean the world to a little boy.

70k for a Pro? No way I’m spending that kind of money for one.
