Is it bad that part of me wants this to be the next Tundra? That way, I have zero desire to get one. My wife would be happy...

Why is the current truck considered Gen 3? It's just a refresh body style and interior of the the original 2nd Gen. I like using 2.5 gen.

A rav stayed the same from 2006 to 2018. So would you consider the change from 2013 to 2014 the same generation? I wouldn't even though the interior and skin was the only change. Same for the tundra 2013 to 2014 skin and interior changed

Wouldn’t mind a bit more 4-Runner / Tacoma front end cues combined with the current 3G hood.

As a whole tho, I think the 3G is the best looking truck on the road. Perfect blend of simple classic design, with the new LED’s and grill giving it some modern touch.

Ok peeps I want to be honest. I kind of like it. Looks like more clearance.so when you hit a deer from the front the high-ravo-tundyeater it will make a clean swipe-kill. No but honestly it looks like it could be waken up. 450hp and maybe 30 mpgs. We make want to rethink it. I know it’s photoshopped in all but looks like you can make it a creeper. Can’t tell inside or rear but today for the first time I seen Camry TRD I said what the f*** is that to my fife as we were driving. That bits looked mean and sounded pretty good. I want to get a pic put couldn’t pull my phone out quickly enough. Very sharp looking car and all points, aero dynamics, looked to the tee. Even the rear spoiler and I’m not a big fan of them. But for the tundra we live in 2020 and the is a new revolution out there. Still looks better even thought it was photoshopped than the other 3. Yeah 450hp we’ll tune and push it to 550/600 hp very Quickly. Sh** maybe even go as far as jumping training tracks with vin diesel. I’m could live with the front end and hey if not we got fab here to start drafting ideas so when time a comes you’ll be set. Can’t tell interior look or side or rear. It also maybe thr color. Adding a decal or accents can ready turn heads. SO YOUY YES TO ALL I LIKE IT. Remember 450 hp while pushing 30 miles gal. And if this ever would come to reality I slet the other tundra out and I I would play with them for a little and than dump the throttle and let her rip. Also would be easy cleaning. I give it a On looks but ready need to see the final product it not bad Toyota not bad

Some Japanese site was reporting that the next gen land cruiser is going to be V6 twin turbo hybrid with less power and torque all around.
Win some you lose some I guess.

To me, I like the Gen2 Tundra's styling, and don't like the harder edges of the Gen3. I hope the Gen4, fixes some of its styling mis-cues (roundish cab, straight-lined body). If this is the new Tundra, count me out, just on styling alone. If they're going to TOTALLY redo the Tundra, make a statement, not a copy of the Tacoma.

Looks like a ridgeline. The lines are too soft for such a rugged truck. I'd like to see more sharper edges or something a bit less "soft".

I hope it looks exactly like this and is powered by two aging hamsters. It'll make my 2020 look great for decades.
