For those of you who have seen the Tundra in person now do you think the grill can be replaced?
Will it be easy to add a “Toyota “ heritage grill insert or perhaps a TRD Pro grill with light bar? Not sure if the TSS sensor will affect this or if a “Toyota “ could be put where the Toyota emblem is.

I would imagine screws and clips for the grille.

for the light bar, probably need to run a new relay and switch.

TSS, I would assume the same or similar set up for existing truck grille swaps.

I'm not a fan of the mustache on the 22 Tundra, but that said, if I end up getting one, I was planning to have a body shop remove it, paint it to match the body color of the truck if it isn't already and call it a day. Once I get my big Wranglerguard bars on it once they are out, it will be a moot point anyways.

Roman is no longer a member on this forum? Was just trying to loop him in to see if he had part numbers and pricing yet.

Plus one on the grill question. I'm getting a 1794 but prefer the grill from the TRD pro. I also noticed if you get TRD package on it, you lose the option for tow mirrors so it would be nice to know if those can be retrofitted.

The aftermarket is full of creativity and (sometimes) mind-boggling ingenuity. I imagine there will be a solution within 6 months for a great many things...the grill included. Changing to the "Toyota" heritage grill iwith white lettering is always one of the first mods on my list. No disrespect to the circle "T" Toyota emblem, but it's never been my style. The old school "Toyota" grills always look best IMO.

I'll have to pop the hood on mine this weekend and poke around the backside of the grill to see how many pieces it's in. If it's all one piece (I have to imagine it isn't), then whatever aftermarket grills that come are likely to be hella expensive due to the size. Hopefully, the grill is in 2-3 pieces to allow for easier modification. :fingerscrossed:

Just following up on this thread to see if anyone has done this yet. I want to swap my grill on my 22 Plat with the heritage grill as well but can't really find any information on it.

Search for the third Gen parts and accessories page Roman is back and from what he posted earlier the grills aren’t interchangeable as the cameras don’t mount the same across trims and they are not cheap

Oh man that's a bummer, thanks for the info. I'm going to need to dig through that thread now to see what all is out there.
