Selling the takes offs from my 2021 TRD Sport. Took them off with 276 miles on them and switched to a more aggressive tire when I lifted it.

    Asking- $650

    Location- Boise ID

    Condition- Used, 276 miles

*Other than wear to rubber in 276 miles, the are perfect.

*Additionally, they come with the factory lug nuts, but TMPS is not included. (Standard rubber valve stems are included.)

Please let me know if you have any questions at all.

    -Joe

That is a great price. Do they come with the TPMS sensors?

    Good Morning,

So I just looked up a quotes on 3 sites and they ranged from $320-$510. I am not trying to sabotage my own sale, but that is just insane for shipping in my opinion.

    Cheers
    -Joe

    Thanks Joe.

Shipping adds up pretty quick. Honestly, if you posted them on facebook marketplace and CL they'd be gone in a week for $650. There is a guy about 80 miles from me with a set listed for $1300, but I'm guessing if I offered him a little over $1k he would sell them. I just can't stand the chrome clad wheels my truck came with.

If the tires are in good shape would it make sense to just powder coat your wheels?

    That’s $50-75 a wheel.

That is a decent idea. I would power coat them, but the chrome clad (plastic) is epoxied to the aluminum alloy wheel. I now know most automakers do this (the Tundra is the first new vehicle I have ever bought), but I wouldn't have bought the truck had I known the wheels weren't all metal. Seems pretty cheap in my opinion on an otherwise decent truck. They do look like real metal until you start examining them from the back.

It seems I am better off selling my like new wheels with less than 700 miles for $700-800 and buying a set I like locally for $800-$1100.

Dude 650 is absurdly low. There is no way you don’t sell these quickly on CL or FB.

Man, this might sound crazy, but I would rather get $200+ less on the forum and not deal with the tires kickers and BS that comes from those sites. lol
