    Hello all -
I'm new to the Tundra world. I recently purchased a new 2021 Lunar Rock Tundra TRD Pro and have a question about the tail lights. I bought some aftermarket (smoked out) OEM tail lights that specifically said on the website that it fits 2014-2021 tundra's. I went to put them on my truck yesterday and found out that they don't fit. The aftermarket tail lights have two male push knobs on one side (that essentially lock in the lights in place), and on the other side, it's the standard screw mounts.
It appears that the 2021 Tundra changed the stock tail light mounts that now requires the light to have two "female" push knobs (instead of male).

Can anyone else confirm this on their 2021 Tundra??

    Thanks

When the stock lights were removed did the pins detach from the taillight and remain in the body of the truck? A pic would be worth a thousand words.

I will take a picture later this afternoon. but to answer your question, yes everything detached as it normally should but as mentioned, the are two female ends instead of male ends. The standard pin's that we are used to seeing aren't present at all (even on the back end of the light). I did try to remove the plactic male housing to see if i could just jimmy-rig it but the fit was still off by about half an inch.

Hello PJazz123. Would you want to sell your factory driver side tail light since you bought new? I am needing one for my 2021 lunar rock.
