    if you ever decide to tackle adding an extra layer of mesh behind those large grill slots, let me know. Kinda shocked at how filthy the engine compartment can get. Been looking for a solution for a few days. Amazon has some 40x13 mesh screen but the reviews of some toyota guys say it needs to be 42in to do it right...anyway, just remembered you were throwing alot at your new ride and was curious if you had thought about it at all.

    which coating did you put on it?
    and what wheels were you looking to put on in a 16" or 17"? Last I knew, there were VERY few 17s that would clear the rotors and I didn't think a 16 would fit AT ALL. maybe i'm missing something.

    Awesome thread. Thanks for doing this - it’s hard to find good info on Sequoia mods. I have the same ride in black - definitely gonna borrow some ideas. That Kenwood can integrate dash and side-view cameras, if you’ve already gone down that road I’d be curious to see how they show up on the display while driving.

    I have not added any side or front cams. Prob not going to. Just have the rear stock cam.
    I REALLY LOVE the dynamic rear cam lines that move with the tires!!
    That one feature alone is worth the price!!

    Yep, I used the iDataLink Maestro. Really livened up the stock speakers and amp, but I still want moar! Had a panic moment too when it wouldn’t turn on. Turns out the first flash didn’t take on the Maestro and it wasn’t passing through accessory power so the HU wouldn’t come on. Quick reflash of the Maestro and all was good though. You should post what harnesses and adapters you used in yours since it’s JBL and my Tundra wasn’t. I’m sure I’ll need the parts list when I change out her stock head unit…

    Boosted make sure you do a firmware upgrade on the Kenwood HU as well.

    Drill…yes I have the Westcott TRD Pro lift installed (see above posts) and I am planning on 295/75/R18 grapplers as soon as the stock tires give the ghost….prob gonna keep the stock rims since they are pretty sweet out of the box.
