I am looking to get a Crewmax Tundra SR5 TRD Off Road 4x4. I am getting a price of a little over 44k with tax, title, and license. Is this a fair price? I cannot seem to find a forum for pricing on the 2020. Should I go with a 2019 and try to negotiate lower? I just moved to California

Got my 2020 Limited CM 4x4 with the TRD off road package last week for 45k out the door with a 4k offer on my beat up Jeep. Came with the suspension, exhaust, sliders, wheels, and skids. Located in central Maryland for reference.

Its going to vary from place to place. Sales tax, maybe extra cost for delivery to the islands? For me, in the PNW its reasonable to see 4-5k off msrp if you shop around, but compared to @Ckatz53, I'd pay ~1k more since my sales tax is nearly 3% higher, whereas an Oregonian would pay ~4k less than me even since they have no tax.

Basically don't compare OTDs, just compare vehicle price.

I just paid 40k give or take OTD on a 2019 4x4 TRD Offroad with dual exhaust and SR5 upgrade.

I am doing the same thing. See this post (https://www.tundras.com/threads/new-member-with-questions.57158/) and it explains some of the options I selected. But it seems like we are building a similar truck. My first step in negotiation is to find (ball park) what the dealer pays. So I went to Edmunds and went to "build your car". My Truck had 3 values. Dealer cost (his price), suggested retail (sticker) and True Market price (what most people pay).
For my truck The MSRP was $48722. The have the True market value at $47,069. His cost is $44709. He is talking in the range of $500 to $700 more than the $44709. So I am around the $44,000 mark.

Hope that helps. Now, maybe you can help me with something. Right now, Toyota is give a $2,000 rebate. :) But my dealer said you get the rebate at the time the truck arrives. I thought it would be at time of purchase. One friend said that he went to a dealer and they said he would get the rebate then, or the one when he took delivery (which ever is better). But that wasn't a Toyota dealer. Please ask about the rebate and let me know what your dealer offers.

BTW: I always start at dealer cost and negotiate up rather than start at MSRP and negotiate down. I find it is easier. My 2 cents for the day.
