I am moving to Canada and I have to sell my 2020 Tundra, and am considering buying a 2008 Sequoia. I saw a lot of mods to update the front end of the Sequoia to a 3rd gen Tundra to a 2020 Sequoia Pro. I'll wait for the 2022 Tundra instead of getting a 2020/21 when I cross the border.

Tundra TRD front sway bar is compatible with the Sequoia.
    Tundra Bilstein 5100?
    2020 Sequoia Grill/Lights/Garnish compatibility? PnP?
Tundra 3rd gen front end conversion? How hard?

What other parts/accessories can be interchanged easily without doing any major fabrication?

    Thanks in advance!

    The front sway bar fits.

Front shocks may fit but I think rear would be different. There is a Bilstein for the Sequoia TRD off road.

2020 grille fits the 2nd gen Sequoia, plug and play. Headlights you'll need harness from ihacker. The panel underneath fits also.

3rd gen tundra front end swap would be expensive. You'll need the whole front end from the hood to the fenders to bumpers. IMO, I'd just swap the 2020 Sequoia TRD Pro grille and the Sequoia LED headlights and the garnish underneath.

Sounds like you want to salvage some of the parts on your tundra and use it on the Sequoia. The front end of the Sequoia is virtually the same as the 2nd gen tundra but when they changed the style for the 3rd gen, they never updated the Sequoia. So of the 3rd gen tundra doesn't fit the 2nd gen tundra, you may have a hard time fitting it to the Sequoia.

    Thank you!

I will start stripping my Tundra and sell the parts off of it and get the Sequoia Pro Grill, lights and garnish. I'll see if I can make the 5100 work in the front and get a pair for the rear.

Do you happen to have the part numbers for the Grill, headlights and garnish? I found the rear sway bar and shocks.

Here is a thread about the 2018+ headlights from Roman

Here is a thread about a harness for the 2018+ headlights, not from ihacker though ( I could only find the ihacker thread about a harness for the 3rd gen tundra and this thread here is for the 2nd gen tundra which is the same as the Sequoia.)

I own a 2nd gen Tundra and Sequoia. The front suspension on the Sequoia is pretty much the same as Tundra. The rear is different setup. They do have bilstein 5100 available for the rear also. I have Bilstein 5100 front and rear on my Sequoia, I have been happy with it.

I am purchasing silver sky metallic sequoia. Did you come across the part number of the garnish, or do I have to get it painted like the grill?

And WOW! The price of those headlights! I think is more inexpensive to convert to a tundra front end now. LOL! But I know there's still fitment issues.
The rears are in my Amazon cart now. I am just looking for the rear lift kit for the shocks and springs.

Heh, the main reason I just left my headlights alone is due to the price of the new headlights. An alternative is the Alpharex Pro headlights but I'm not sold on the quality of them yet.

I believe the headlight garnish comes unpainted. If it did have a color, there would be two extra digits at the end of the part number indicating the color. The grille comes in one of four colors but if you want it to match the silver metallic then you'll need to get it painted as well.

I called Toyota and they said that TRD does not have rear sway bar for the 2012 Sequoia . Is there any other options? Hellwig does not make it as well.

Will the side steps from a 2021 tundra fit on a 2008 sequoia?

DC will fit. CM is too long.

I’m not sure what DC or CM means but my deductive reasoning tells me “too long” is all I need to know that they won’t fit. Thanks!!

Sorry. Double Cab and Crew Max.
Double Cab will fit with maybe minor mods for the rear mount. I still have my aftermarket ones from my double cab that I sold and was going to install it in the sequoia eventually. Once my home improvement projects are done.
