So I finally had my lift installed! Originally I was going to go with a Readylift with bilstein coil overs but could not get them in time because of the covid-19 crisis. So I went with a Fabtech because Fabtech covered the expense out of their own pocket. I will post better pictures in the future.

    Mods
    - 6 inch Fabtech Performance Lift Kit with Dirt Logic Coil overs with 2.5 Reservoirs
    & Dirt Logic Rear Shocks
    - SPC Control Arms
    - TRD Front & Rear Sway Bars
    - Coach Builder Shackles
    - 37x12.5x18 Open Country RT Tires
    - 18x9 Fuel Covert Black Wheels (+1 Offset)
    - Nitro 5.29 Gears
    - CORSA Exhaust
    - TRD Cold Air Intake
    - 15% Window Tint
    - AMP Power Steps
    - BAKFlip MX4 Cover
    - TRD Pro Led Headlights
    - Baja Designs Fog Lights (Amber)
    - MGM Door Handles
    - MGM Mirror Covers
    - Black Out Platinum Emblems
    - Black Out 4x4 Emblem
    - Weather Tech Floor Mats
    - ESP Storage Bins
    - Pro Clip Mobile Phone
    - Smoked License Plate Cover
    - Govee Interior Lighting

Looks awesome! Can you measure the height of your garage opening?

Thanks, I already measured the garage before the lift install and if I remember correctly I was at 84 inches.

The lift company installed icon because the kit did not come with control arms and had a problem with the coil overs hitting the stock control arms. Rocky Top Customz use SPC for control arms and since they were paying for it I did not complain.

Thanks man, I am glad to help make your decision for you. The wife and I were stuck between white and charcoal. But we both decided on MGM after going back and forth. I am very glad I went with MGM. The last step is to install my black out platinum emblems.

Nice truck! Nice lift! For some reason the drop bracket kits don't get respect here on the tundra forums. I love them. They look tough. Everyone says coilover lifts are the way to go for performance. That may be, but this is my only truck, and I'm not about to tear it up goin full speed on some dirt trails and jumps. I prefer the look of a 6 inch lift with 35s vs a 3 inch lift with 35s.

Nice ride again! I am slowly making my sr5 into a "baby" platinum. Usually everyone goes for the TRD pro look. If you don't mind me asking..how much was the lift without the labor? Thanks

The Fabtech Lift just by itself was $3900 dollars :spending:

That ain't bad at all. Cheaper than the King coilover lift I've been planning to get. I think you just may have changed my mind!

King 3.0s are $4900 for shocks alone. Add leafs, shackles and UCAs and you are quickly $7500-8000 uninstalled. Granted you dont have to go to 3.0s though

    So total was $4450.

I got the Fabtech cheaper because I couldn’t get the coilovers with the ready lift bc of Covid-19. So they told me that Fabtech drop the price by $800. One thing I did forget was the control arms were $550. The original lift kit wasn’t supposed to have control arms but the hose traveling the the springs to the reservoir was hitting the stock control arms. That is why it cost me more, sorry I left that part out.The lift total was $4450 With icon control arms.

I bought another set of platinum emblems and had the dealership paint them. They said they wouldn’t paint it if it was on the truck.

Sweet ride man! Looks a lot like my '17 Platinum I just purchased. I bought it like this. However, I'm looking to make some mods. Already ordered me an 8" SS BAMuffler Exhaust from @dirtydeeds. Just waiting to get it. My Platinum isn't blacked out. I like the Platinum Blackout look though!

I'm wanting LED Headlights and Fog Lights. Any suggestions?

I like the look of the Toyo's. Do they have pretty good wear and traction?

I've had my 2017 Platinum since 6-12-20. I notice I have a noticeable positive camber issue causing wear on outer edge of my 33" Grapplers. Anyone know if it might just be an alignment issue? Or what I need to do to fix it? Also, I have a rub at full turn. Are there any splash guards I can get to help remedy this issue? I also have some slight rubbing on plastic on front side.

Thanks man, took me a lot of research, time and money... :spending:I went with TRD Pro Headlights because of cost and the reliability factor of a Toyota part over the competition. Yes, I really do like the Toyo tires! I have owned the ridge grapplers from Nitto too but I like the Toyos better.

Amazing build! I just bought a white 2020 platinum. How did you remove the chrome on the keyless entry door handles?

I bought the MGM door handles from the Toyota and had the dealer install the door handles. I couldn't stand the chrome on the Tundra and I was also between white and charcoal myself when I purchased my truck.

Ok wow that must have been a very expensive processes lol. I hate the chrome too but idk if I could spend that much for that small amount of chrome to be gone lol. Anyways amazing truck man. I guess I’m gonna be saving for while or doing a DYI paint project on those handles

Yeah I know it was expensive, I looked every way around it, but ultimately had to spend the money to get rid of all the chrome.
