2020 Cement Grill & Hood Bulge?

I’m looking to delete the chrome from by new 2020 cement, specifically the grill. I’m wondering if I can use my current SR5 grill but replace the chrome pieces only (hood bulge & lower grill piece).

SparkParts seems to not have anything 2020 and I haven’t found anything else on other sites. Are other years not compatible with 2020? It doesn’t help that I live in Alaska so shipping can be pretty gnarly.

ORder the older model Pro grille/bulge in Cement and swap the surround over.

I ordered my pro grille through sparks although didnt need the surround or bulge since mine is a sport.

 

I bought a used one a different color, then had a local body shop paint. Cost me $500 total

Did you have to buy the crazy expensive TSS insert shield piece as well?

 

I bought the sensor cover through Ares Customs. Looks great, I like the look better than the factory piece actually. Just took him quite a while to ship it but that was the only downside. Only 65$

 

Is the chrome not paintable? Can you only paint one that’s already painted?

 

I hit a deer and had to replace it. The body shop said chrome would be difficult to paint. I found a SR grill for sale on the forum and went with that. It was a dark grey color from the factory.

SparkParts, Toyota of Cool Springs, TRD Shop, even eBay. They’re all crazy expensive to ship because of the package size.

 

Yup. I ordered through Toyota of Cool Springs and bit the bullet. It is not a perfect match but it is really damn close. I tried a few places to see if they would paint my chrome one and the places I checked, wouldn't. I took out the SR5 insert and the TRD Pro insert. That was a pain in the ass. But I really like the look. And in this light, it looks near perfect.
