Before hijacking more of another thread I thought I would throw this out there. Bought a set of Toyota tow mirrors from my local dealership. Installed. Drove home. Thinking to myself the passenger side is closer to door and swept back. Chock it up to being new mirrors and the night is playing tricks on me. Drive a few more time. God damnit something is not even and I am starting to twitch. The BSM issue gave me reason to pull doors apart and double check the install. All good. Studs bottomed out and nuts proper tight. Let the measuring begin. Marked with take at a rough eyeballing. Measured. Off about an inch. Folded in and distance to touching is different. Measure from center line of the amber lense to fixed spot of door. Off about an inch. Pull both the mirrors off. Placed on lift and lined up. J H F C !!!!!! Pictures. So if you are going to buy TOW mirrors pull them out of the box. Somewhere in a production run they changed. ***side note. If doing to BSM LED MOD upper right wire is the positive, the 5th pin on lower row is negative***20190517_190128.jpg 20190517_190155.jpg 20190517_185833.jpg 20190517_185855.jpg 20190517_201349.jpg

No. They are the normal ones. All you need to do is wire an LED and the BSM and CTA will work. There are a couple write ups on these. This post is just about the difference between the two mirrors I bought from Toyota.

Mine are also the same. Noticed it as soon as I pulled the right one out. No biggie.
