    I'm sure most will lead you towards the limited as it has more creature comforts, which is true. But it all depends on what you want vs need. Also, do you plan to spend some $ on the truck, if so the extra $4K could come in handy. Sorry I'm no help.

    I wanted an SR5 but ended up with a Limited due to the dealer not having what I wanted. I'm glad I went with the upgrade.

    Yes both the same color - Silver. I don't like the black door handles on SR5 but I do like the cover on SR5 better.

    it basically a $4K difference between the 2 because I would replace the mirror caps and door handles on the SR5. but then again the Limited is a year newer which means nothing to me....however I wonder if a year newer helps resale by a $1K...or 2?

    Limited. That's a pretty good price on the Limited for a 2019, and not a very good price on the SR5 for a 2018. You could probably get that SR5 for a bit less if you wanted it.

    I'd go limited if it came with sunroof. But that's just me. Both are excellent trucks. Limited will get better resale cause it's a higher trim model, not necessarily the year. But yes, newer year will be worth more in resale as well.

    I signed intent to buy papers on an SR5 on a Friday. By Monday I found a Limited in the same color online. Told my dealer they could fetch it and get the sale or I would go get it. They weren’t thrilled, but they traded inventory for it. I’ve thanked myself a hundred times for holding out for the Limited. That leather interior is awesome.

    Yeah, I got a limited and wish I got a platinum. OP, if you can get lucky and find a 2018 platinum I'd honestly go for that, you can probably get a great deal on it.

    I had a smoking deal worked out on a platinum, it was silver and the only one the dealer had. Pulled into the lot and my wife and 13 year old daughter said it looked like an old man truck...SMH... it was soooo much nicer than the TRD Sport , but as I often say “it is what it is”

    No it’s a sport, don’t get me wrong, it’s a damn nice truck. Leather seats would be nice. I plan on buying a set off eBay and tackling it myself or getting a dealer to put them in.
