i just joined the group looking to buy my first tundra. 2019 TRD pro. Would love to have a dealer installed supercharger off the lot. I noticed sparks Toyota in South Carolina did them. Do they still? Any body have a contact. I actually live in Southern California. But I would be willing to buy and ship it here if I could get done.

Call them. They use a unichip, it is not CARB approved, and leaves a little to be desired imo.. It may be awhile before there are CARB approved tunes also.

The smog is good for 5 years until I can get out of This darn state. As long as the sticker price says 50 state emission. I believe I’m good and do the SC on the side

Toyota of Glendora might do the SC. I spoke to the parts dept couple of times but ended up using Rock Tech Offroad do the SC.
Longo did not want anything to do with SC...

I'm in Yuma AZ.. your next door neighbor and my local Toyota dealership will install the SC. I bought my magnuson super charger (uses a bullydog chip) from 4wheeloffroad.com cheaper then from Sparks and Bill Alexander installed it for about a 1000 bucks. Took 2 days to install and works perfectly. They have installed several of these kits, both the OEM when they were available as well as the aftermarket ones .

@Duneflyer, did you keep or get a warranty with this install? I don't believe Toyota will warranty anything other than their TRD SC, which unfortunately isn't produced anymore. Curious I am

Magnuson issues you a 3 year 36k mile power train warranty. You have to send in your dealer install paperwork and where unit was purchased and then they carry the warranty. Also... My aftermarket warranty will cover my supercharger, because it was a "dealer installed" item.

Me too and im also in DFW. Wonder if there is a highly qualified mechanic at a Toyota dealer around here for these types of mods. In fact, ive heard from a few guys here and there that have seen my truck somewhere and said something to me like, “man do you know that 5.7 Tundra youve got there is a beast waiting to be unleashed? Will just a few mods (intake, chip, exhaust are what i recall them saying) that truck will take any hemi you pull up next to at a stoplight.” Can anyone chime in and let me know what they know to be the best (non supercharger) mods to “unleash the 5.7 beast”? Im an idiot when it comes to engine mods but not afraid to have someone qualified do them. Thanks!!

I doubt Magnuson has the tuning for the 2018+ Tundras. The supercharger kit for 2018 or 2019 isn't available on their website.

For non supercharged updates contact Keith at Dirty Deeds Industries. He is very helpful and has done this type of work for awhile. Otherwise it's a tune, headers and exhaust is about all you can do without a total engine rebuild or a supercharger

Gotcha and thanks. So are you suggesting not doing a CAI for the 5.7l Tundras?

I'm considering a supercharger for my 2018. Problem is, with that EPA/DOJ settlement with Derive Systems, is that the end of tuning for new Magnuson superchargers? Looking at Magnuson's website, there doesn't appear to be 2018 superchargers available.

I called Magnuson and was told there is no ETA on the 2018 Tundra supercharger. The woman confirmed it was a tuning issue.

I’m in the same boat. 2018 and can’t even buy a Bullydog tuner for simple changes my speedo to match tire size, turn of TPMS, etc.
I’m working with D.A.P. Tuning. Still nothing for the ‘18. I was told DAP has over $60k in RnD and still can’t hack into the ECU.
FYI - Magnuson customer service and tech support sucks. I know first hand.
    D.A.P. Has a SC and it’s cheaper.
    I’ll keep you posted.

DAP offers the Harrop SC, which is bigger than the Maggie, more power on lower psi. Still no software for the 18+ though

I just saw this on IG and the video shows a magnuson charger on a 2019? Either he’s playing or somebody is holding out.
