2019 sr5 trade in value not bad.

Ok so carmax offered me $38,000 for my crew max sr5 4x4 with 4600 miles.
Not bad i feel, i was contemplating getting a 3/4 ton with a 6.5’ ft bed. All the things I compromised getting a tundra vs a 3/4’ton are kinda now favoring a 3/4 ton. We’ll see!

 

Carmax should be your baseline. See if carvana or a local dealer will beat it.

 

I bet your 3/4 ton dealer can do better. We have dealers offering $2000 above KBB value for trade ins in my area.

 

Resale is not an issue with the Toyota trucks or 4runners.

Yes. Carvana is paying. They are competing against everyone else and more and more people are buying and selling with them due to convenience and how fast it is.

I just sold my 2017 TRD Sport 36700k
4x4 and got $33,370 and I took it only payed $34500 i did the carmax thing to see what they were offering and it was 30k. the downside is usd trucks are high right now but i did find a good used 2007 Tundra 4.7 4x4 ( I love the reliability of the 4.7) so Im happy
