So, I'm a recent convert from Titan to Tunda. I love the truck but miss my remote start and keyless entry. As a newbie, I have to ask if there is a way to put both aftermarket kits in it? Also, will it cause any electrical issues by doing so?

I have seen discussions for one or the other, but not both.

There are loads of different after market options. You can go through your dealership too as going through the dealership will not void your warranty. I heard the 2020 range all have keyless entry and push start so I am personally holding off to see what that looks like and if it can be out in the 19.

There are a few aftermarket systems that allow for keyless entry and remote start. Looks like you have a 2018 Limited so I’m guessing you already have keyless entry. You can add the Toyota remote start, which works with your key fob, but will kill the ignition when the door is opened. A lot of people recommend 12volt solutions and/or Tech12volts as they both offer plug and play solutions that work with the key fob and do not kill the ignition.

Get the Compustar unit that Bestbuy sells, it goes on sale a lot with free install. Works amazing.

    Welcome from NY.

Compustar remote starter. Keyless entry, I don't think so.

Actually, believe it or not...it doesn't have keyless entry. I am looking to get both installed aftermarket.

If youre asking about smart key entry where your doors unlock when you touch the door handle they do have aftermarket systems but the reviews vary. The problem is if it craps out on you you are SOL. After they announced it'll be in the 2020's (select trims) I've decided to wait and see about OEM rather than roll the dice on aftermarket. Or maybe I'll just get a new Tundra ;) Good luck to you and whatever you decide!
