    Hey all,

Just trying to figure out what my next step is, tried searching this issue on here and no luck.

So one of the wires in the plug that plugs into the oem foglight has separated from the plug, is there a way to re attach the wire, or am i looking at a whole new plug wire assembly.

The toyota parts guy here in town was not much help at all. Sorry i do not have a photo i thought i took one when it was apart.

    Thanks!

Is it the contact that came out with the wire or just bare wire? If contact is still on wire, just insert into plug. Make sure its the correct orientation. If not, you'll have to remove the contact and crimp it. Isn't your truck still under warranty?

If what @danz75 mentioned doesn’t work or you did something to void the warranty, you can just get a new female H11 pigtail off Amazon and splice it in.

edit: or just do what @thomasbus337 said

Hey guys thanks for the fast responses, definitely just need an h11 pigtail. I have to say though toyota sure dropped the ball on these fog lights. Very poor design

    Alot of them
So the 2018 was H11? My 2020 is H16. Found that out when swapping my bumper and wiring the Rigids. The H11 adapter from my 13 wouldn't fit.

Yep, not sure when they made the switch, but mine are definitely H11.

Oh interesting. Yeah h11 on my 2018. I prefer not to deal with warranty on these small things and just deal with it myself in the garage.

I was going to change the bulb and let the whole assembly hang and the wire just slid out just the wire

You can buy a contact and crimp tool and fix it if you do some research. Probably cheaper to get a new pigtail and solder it on.
