I haven't had a problem yet with the non-dimming. I did lower them with the level motors slightly though, but that's more the main lights being so much brighter, than anything with the drls though. Only thing I noticed is if you use remote start the non-dimming is kind of bright depending on where you're parked to be idling for a while (if you're parked pointed at a house or something).

I live in a desert town where street lights don’t exist. If the moon isn’t out, it gets very dark at night. Plus everyone else keeps their brights on so I might as well

    Sir,

I have a 2016 SR with the amber DRL. I would like to purchase a non-dimming harness.

    Thanks.

Anyone know of pics or video of a side-by-side comparison of the dimming vs non-dimming DRLs?

Looking to join in on the fun. Just ordered a set of 19 Pro LED’s from Roman so need to get prepared. Don’t know what harness I need. Here’s what I got

‘15 DC SR5 basic halogens. Also have an NSV bar currently tied into it.

As long as I don’t lose that functionality I’m good with whatever is needed. Looks like there’s some dimming features I potentially need to decide on but clueless on the rest.

    Let’s do this!

    Bueller?

Without reading through 30 pages of posts...can folks who have the non-dimming DRL lights say how bright they actually are for oncoming traffic? Do they seem to be too bright? I've opted for the dimming DRL harness, but if it's not that bad, I'll just go with the non-dimming.

Some people report never getting flashed after owning for over a year. That is the only option headlight revolution offers, so just guessing I would think that non dimming drl is acceptable.

Dimmer harness should be on the way soon probably before I get the pro led headlights.

Any tips on going through the rubber boot/firewall?

I used an exacto hobby knife, cut a little slit in it. Then put some silicone on the cut to seal it back.

received my ihacker non dimming harness and waited for the TRD Pro headlights to come in. Well they arrived, but were xx211 the 2017 TRD Pro headlights that werent the 18-19 xx210 with LED lights. Had to resend them back on my dime and order the x210 TRD Sport 18-19 LED lights. Came in a week later and installed them. Ihacker harness is really nicely made and install went pretty easy with pics/steps. Glad i went ahead and purchased the 18/19 LED headlights.
