I hear ya man. I'd be scared too. I bet you will find used 18s for 400ish a set soon as the 19 comes out. For that you can afford to pay for someone to customize them. MGM color matched, smoked markers, damn that would be sick

Just saying....you could capitalize on the guys who go after the latest and greatest and end up with a bad ass custom set. I'm not a good influence on your wallet I have come to realize.

Yes I know the owner of that truck. It’s Eriks truck. I’ve been waiting for over two months on my retrofitted 18s. Slow and painful process. Mine definitely will be unique because of my lighting options.

 Me too, I’m waiting (Im)patiently to see @1UPPER lights in action definitely will be a unique design from what I heard from Flynt , definitely there’s a lot of possible customization with this headlights but I’m ok for now like they are I still don’t have enough guts to take them apart.

Since the retrofitter is so far behind the original timeline and doesn’t want to give me any updates I would rather not say who they are.

After dealing with another vendor who sold me a really bad quality harness which ended up with me getting ripped off, I finally got my 2018 LED Headlights installed a couple of months ago and the work perfectly. Thanks @iHacker for the help/info and the quality harness you produce.

@iHacker has a top of the line harness. If you are looking for a harness buy from him. Don't look elsewhere! Avoid the headache.

Installed lights and ihacker wiring kit last night and couldn't be happier. Was super easy to install and looks factory.

Random question after install for the group...I used the harness from @iHacker and install went smooth. I didn't have a ton of gray wire accessible for the relay (must have clipped too much back when I wasnt worried about it for my hid kit). I got a good connection to the black wire on my relay but my paranoia wants to know what purpose that wire serves in the 18 headlights. Since we could cut it for hid set ups and if we just didn't want drl, what does it do now as part of the new relay? Will I know if that gray wire connection fails?

As always, man is on point. If ANYONE is thinking about doing the 2018s, reach out to this guy! Harness was as good as factory and everything was straightforward. Thanks @iHacker. You rock.

Hello @iHacker . I have a 2015 SR5 CM (stock Headlights) and i was looking at the instructions but cant seem to figure out what harness i need. i have those amber DRL and if it too much work in keeping them on the new set i wouldn't care if there are on or off, as the Round LED would work better anyhow. I am not sure if i have a factory dimming or LED dimming. Can you guide me on the right harness and price for my truck as im trying to get an idea of the cost for the conversion to the the 2018 headlights. Also, how do i make the purchase. Thank you!!

Anyone running the harness with led on high all the time? Does the led overpower the headlights?

    Hi Jeremy,

Yes I can ship the harness to Canada but you have to pay extra to cover the postal fees.

Let me know if that’s ok for you to send instructions for payment, I use PayPal

    Thank you

I have a 2014 1794 edition with the OEM bottom let strip. Do you make a harness so I can use the 2018 OEM LED headlights.

New to the forum and new Tundra owner (purchased 2017 TRD Pro Cement slightly used at the end of June). My big complaint was the headlights, as all my older card had HID's and my new truck has yellow halogens (WTF Toyota?!). ANYWAY I just completed the install of new TRD Sport LED's and some Morimoto fogs, and I'm a happy camper.

I would not have dared to do this on my own without reading thru iHacker's detailed instructions and videos first, which is a big reason I bought his harness with the Amber DRL delete, and I'm glad I did. I had some last minute questions last night and he replied to both of my PM's within MINUTES. High quality harness and high quality customer service and outstanding directions let me get everything hooked up correctly THE FIRST TIME. I could not be happier. OK I'll shut up now and post some pics...

how is the output on the 2018 LED headlamps compared to a HID projector conversion? we all know how poor the factory lights are. I run aftermarket LED hid's with build in shield's so the glare is not bad at all.
