Hey fellow Tundra owners, this is my more recent family vehicle purchase, 2018 Tundra Limited. The color is smoked mesquite. This photo was taken August 22, I bought the truck Feb 2022. I have been searching the forum for some time and wasn’t sure which direction I was going to go with the truck stock or modified.

During my indecisiveness I prematurely bought several bed build options, first a victory rack(still new in box and for sale), second a cheap tonneau cover, third after all that plunged in for the Leer cap. Compromised a bit in the exact one due to back orders and no set date for certain topper additions. XR100 sliding rear door, windoor sides, Manuel handles, carpet…etc. nothing that’s hasn’t been done yet. I added a bed rug and lower profile side steps.

I’m sorta bitter about the truck as it has been at the dealer since about almost mid January due to the faulty flex fuel, fuel pump failures. Fortunately the work and loaner is covered by Toyota, I’ve been given dates when the part will be in but it keeps getting pushed down the road….. I was planning on having it back Feb 22 but the day after they told me one more month…so, we wait some more.

However I did purchase some new wheels thinking I would have the truck back Feb 22nd. Usually wheels are a purchase further down the road but I was amped and thinking this wheel may sell out before I bought a lift.

Can anybody guess the wheel and color? Hint for the 2nd gen tundra this wheel was released in the last year and the brand use to be exclusively for Toyotas.

Looking forward to sharing updates and learning more about this platform.
